Storyline via Hallmark: Allie, a veterinarian in Evergreen, reluctantly will spend Christmas with her long-distance boyfriend. Bound for the airport, she has engine trouble, and Ryan, headed to Florida with his daughter Zoe, stops to help. Sure they won’t meet again, they ignore their attraction, and part ways. At the diner, Zoe wishes on a snow globe, and a storm seems to grant her wish. She wants to spend Christmas in Evergreen, and the airport shuts down! Stranded too, Allie gives them a ride to town, and on the way, must deliver a calf. It’s a miraculous start to Christmas, until Allie’s boyfriend helicopters in. Upset, Ryan leaves with Zoe, but now their flight is canceled! Something is keeping Ryan, Zoe and Allie in Evergreen, and it might have a lot to do with Nick (Keith Martin Gordey), a new guy in town who seems to know a bit about Christmas magic.

Oh, Net, I feel like a kid in a candy store with all these great looking new movies coming up!! By the way, I see that new wonderful banner and very festive wallpaper. Your blog looks so beautiful for Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this one :)
ReplyDeleteAshley Williams as Allison “Allie” Shaw is a Veterinarian.
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to watch this
By far the best holiday movie this year! Ashley Williams was wonderful! She has the brightest smile and Christmas for me just comes alive when I see her in Christmas movies. Always a little bit of magic in everything I see her in. This is what Christmas is all about!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed this movie!! Does anyone know who makes the purple coat Ashley Williams wears? Love that coat so much.
ReplyDeleteThis was precious!!! I'm normally not a fan of this type of story where the woman already has a boyfriend but this was done quite tastefully and it didn't feel like she was rushing to jump from one man to another.
ReplyDeleteI also appreciate that Ryan didn't try to pursue Allie when she was still Spencer's girlfriend, only when he had known that they broke up. Zoey, the little girl is so precious!
I totally agree! My favorites are generally not the ones where there's already an existing boyfriend or girlfriend either, but yeah, I think it was handled better in this one, and I really enjoyed this movie.
DeleteLove this movie! Where can I buy the snow globe? 😊
DeleteLoved this movie.Nice story and the christmasy feel of the whole movie was great.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the red truck too ... awesome to have a classic vehicle a "star" of a holiday movie ... :)
Lovely movie! Saw 3 times. Teddy Sears is a handsome man and good actor. The Hallmark movies with Ashley Williams are always awesome.
ReplyDeleteI loved the movie as well and am obsessed with the truck! What make/model is it and is it a new replica of a vintage model?
ReplyDeleteI am no truck expert ( secretly I want them all to be Chevys ) so I tried to look up the only identifying mark I could see on the truck,a chrome V8 symbol you can barely see on the front.I could not find an exact match so I can't say for sure what make the truck is.I imagine they decorated it to cover the make because it would be advertising if they had it showing.I think the truck is real vintage from the looks of it ... again just guessing.
DeleteTruck is a Ford...probably 1955-1956 model.
DeleteIts a 1953 Ford f 150
DeleteI hate to burst your bubble but the F-150 didn't come out until the late 1970s I think it was 77 or 78
DeleteThe truck is a 1951 Mercury M-100
DeleteHate to burst your bubble but in the 1st Evergreen movie, the truck is a 54 Mercury. In the following Evergreen movies it is a 53 Ford F-150
Deletenot a 51, it is a 53 Mercury M-100
DeleteThank you for all of this truck information, JD! I know everyone interested in the Evergreen truck will enjoy this interesting detail.
DeleteThe actors were great but some diturbing technical issues:
ReplyDelete1. A Jersey cow giving birth io a Holstein calf not likely.
2. A snow blizzard reported but my lying eyes only saw flurries.
why does hallmark make it so hard to find the music from their christmas movies?
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the soundtrack of this movie
ReplyDeleteJust saw a comment on another board by the former owner of the truck. They wanted a Mercury but couldn't find one when filming started so bought this Ford from him and camouflaged it with the wreaths and garlands. They quit hiding the emblems in the following movies
ReplyDeleteJD, Thanks for the information on the truck. That is interesting they chose to hide the Ford emblem in the beginning.
DeleteI appreciate you sharing that! :)
Just rewatched this classic on DVD. I love this movie series so much. -Maria
