Miss Christmas - a Hallmark Channel Original "Countdown to Christmas" Movie starring Brooke D’Orsay & Marc Blucas
Movie: Miss Christmas
Network: Hallmark Channel
Original Air Date: November 5, 2017
Brooke D’Orsay ... Holly Khun
Marc Blucas ... Sam McNary
Luke Roessler ... Joey
Storyline via Hallmark: Nicknamed “Miss Christmas,” the official tree finder for Chicago’s renowned Radcliffe Tree lighting is left desperate to find the perfect tree. A letter from a young boy promising his tree is perfect sends her to a small town where she learns the young boy’s dad isn’t willing to part with his tree. While sparks fly, she’ll be forced to confront what she’s really been missing for Christmas.
"Miss Christmas" is filled with Hallmark Holiday Happiness! When Holly (A.K.A. “Miss Christmas”) goes in search of the perfect Christmas tree for Chicago’s renowned Radcliffe Tree lighting, she may find something else completely unexpected and wonderful.
When the original tree planned for the lighting becomes unusable, Holly desperately seeks out a new tree, with little time to spare before Christmas. A letter from a child brings her to a small town, where she meets the boy’s father, Sam, and his incredible, welcoming family. But, there’s one hitch… as one of the owners of the tree in the McNary family, Sam (who is a bit of a Scrooge, at the start), is not easily convinced to let the families’ tree go, even though his Father, Sister, and Son all seem eager to do so.
Will Holly eventually be able to persuade Sam to let the tree go, too? Or, will Sam, who is obviously falling in love keep up his guard, and let Holly go?
When things don’t turn out, quite as expected, Holly “Miss Christmas” soon realizes that since her family has been gone she has put so much focus on the Radcliffe Tree each year that she has completely missed a real Christmas. Will this year be any different?
Can a spectacular surprise light up the feelings Sam and Holly had for each other, once again?

So glad to see Marc back with another Christmas movie. I love his deep voice and infectious laugh. Brooke is adorable and I can't wait to see what these two will be up to!! Love this paring...ReplyDelete
Oh my goodness, yes, Linda... these two look so good together!!! Can't wait for this one!!! :)Delete
Doesn't Marc Blucas look absolutely fantastic in these pictures!ReplyDelete
It would appear that they have changed the plot for this movie.
Originally Sam was the young boy's uncle (still showing on Hallmark's website) but now it would appear he is his father.
I would have preferred the original.
This looks good. Can't wait for their Countdown to Christmas to start.ReplyDelete
I'll be watching! Brooke D'Orsay is as adorable as a person can be!ReplyDelete
So agree with Linda & Anonymous about Marc Blucas! As you know Net, I'm a huge fan of Marc! He's eye candy plus that voice! So looking forward to this movie! Thanks for posting these pics of him and Brooke! As always you keep us all so informed on all the movie news!ReplyDelete

On Miss Christmas, about 30 minutes into the movie they show this yellow house with a porch upstairs and downstairs. I LOVE IT! It was such a brief shot I didn't get a good look at it. One day I'd like to build a house and I'd love to maybe incorporate that porch into it...IF I could get a picture of it!ReplyDelete
Did you ever find that perfect yellow farm house?Delete

I absolutely love love LOVE Miss Christmas. It's nearing the end of Countdown to Christmas lineup and this is still at the top of my favorite list! It's engaging from beginning to end and the dialogues and writing were just perfect. I love the unique storyline and that it has a lot of heart! Brooke D'orsay and Marc Blucas were absolutely perfect.ReplyDelete
I know how you feel CH Mom, and I get sad every time I think it is nearing the end of countdown to Christmas. I am so loving Christmas 24/7/. Maybe one day Hallmark will have a Hallmark Christmas Channel :) Christmas all day, all year.Delete
Yes, Sabrina, wouldn't that be something?? I know I'd be one happy camper and my TV would be on 24/7. I just realized in a little over two weeks it'll all be over for this year...sad...so let's make every moment remaining count!! Merry Christmas!!Delete
I so agree, Linda... Let's hold onto every precious moment! I never want it to end. If only we could have that Christmas channel, Sabrina! That would be ideal... Perfection!!! I'm all in for that! :)Delete
Blessings & Merry Christmas!!! Net

the lyrics go...
"i like the sparkling christmas things
i like to hear the children sing
i like to hear the sleigh bells ring
and all the joy that christmas brings"
I want to know this also. It sounds like Brooke D'Orsay is singing it. Is she?Delete

What is the name of the song near the end when they are decorating the tree?ReplyDelete
Dee, I wish I knew! I replayed it, but I don't recognize it. Sounds very cute.Delete
Love the lyrics...
It's 20 degrees
The snow on the trees
Makes the world look like crystal
Icicles hang like silver meringue
and outside it's just blissful
(from there it's kind of hard to tell exactly with dialogue and clapping)
Maybe someone else knows it???
