A Message from God's Word
Genesis 2:18-24- "Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Now out of the ground the LORD God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."

    2. Ohhhhhh, Net, as much as I love Paul Greene, "The Perfect Bride" was my favorite wedding movie. Pascale and Kavan took the June prize for the cutest couple!!

    3. You are so sweet, Linda! I loved both of those movies, too! Pascale & Kavan are truly such a perfect couple in "The Perfect Bride!" I absolutely adored them in it, too! Seeing them together just makes one feel happy inside! They were so blessed to come together to make this movie and have the experience of WCTH, but I hear Paul Greene and Maggie Lawson basically met on-set of "My Favorite Wedding" when everything was already set in motion! They, too, had amazing instant chemistry!!! But, I know just what you mean about Pascale and Kavan- they are truly something special!!!

All around, we were blessed with two wonderful wedding movies... in fact, all the Hallmark June Weddings were extra good this year!!! :)

  2. I know that my comment does not relate to this post, but I couldn’t find “The Big Grab”/ “Can’t Buy My Love” on the schedule for Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.

    1. Oh my goodness! Another PixL movie scheduled to air on Hallmark - bites the dust!!!

The schedule must have just changed within the last day or so! Since other PixL movies, previously scheduled to air on Hallmark this month, also suddenly disappeared from the schedule -I've been trying to keep a somewhat close eye on this one, from time to time. But each time I had checked back, it still said June 29th... so, I figured with the date soon approaching, this one was surely a go, but no... it has also disappeared down the rabbit hole! Wonder what is happening with the PixL-Hallmark movie relationship? Something must be amiss.

Thank you for sharing this news. (in regard to where you posted your comment- this is just fine. You can, however, find my main post on "The Big Grab"/"Can't But My Love" - here: http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2017/02/cant-buy-my-love-pixl-original-movie.html. And, details on the other previously cancelled PixL on Hallmark movies - here: http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2017/06/pixl-movies-scheduled-on-hallmark.html.

I so appreciate you stopping in to share that update!!! Blessings, Net

  3. Is Maggie Lawson's first Hallmark Channel Movie?

    1. Yes, I believe it is... although, Maggie Lawson is no stranger to the Made-for-TV movie format, having made several for ABC's Wonderful World of Disney and ABC Family.

    2. I haven't seen Maggie on Wonderful World of Disney. I watched her on Nancy Drew; she solved mystery as she portrayed as Nancy Drew. There's another Actress portrayed as Nancy Drew was Emma Roberts.

    3. Actually, since you've seen her movie "Nancy Drew," you have seen Maggie Lawson on the Wonderful World of Disney!

From 1995 to 2005, the Wonderful World of Disney Movies aired weekly on ABC, Sunday nights.

During that run, Maggie Lawson starred in two of their popular movies - Model Behavior (2000) and Nancy Drew (2002)!

Maggie has been doing TV movies for years- so it's perfect for her to join Hallmark! And, after this performance in "My Favorite Wedding," I'm sure Hallmark viewers are going to be asking to see more of her!!! :)

    2. Erin and Joyce in Carolina - I have to agree, too! "My Favorite Wedding" was terrific! For me, it tied with "The Perfect Bride," but I absolutely loved them both!!! :)

In my opinion... "June Weddings" had the best block of movies, so far, for the year! I know Christmas will probably be even better... but it's hard for any season, holiday, or event to compete against 33 movies at Christmas!!! :)

  6. Hello Net,
I am seeing Paul Greene a lot lately in various movies. He's such a good actor.....and handsome. He was in a couple Christmas shows that I've watched and always does a nice job. Thanks for suggesting this wedding movie.

ps thank you for the special comment on my post about Jess' new baby. We are all so excited and feel very blessed. : )

    1. Oh, so glad you loved those Christmas movies with Paul Greene, Sheri! He kind of hinted in an interview there just may be another Hallmark Christmas movie in the works this year, but nothing has been officially announced - just yet!

With 33 new Hallmark Christmas movies coming this year, and Paul Greene's enormous popularity with Hallmark and fans, he's surely a shoo-in for a Christmas movie, if he can work it around filming for "When Calls the Heart!"

Thank you so much for visiting here and commenting!

Blessings on your day!!! Net :)

  7. My Favorite Wedding was the very best of the June Weddings. I have watched it like 3 times already. I love anything Paul Greene, but I was surprised how much I liked Maggie Lawson. She kind of reminds me of Ashley Williams when she was Poppy in October Kiss with her facial expressions, they were almost like a whole other character that was so fun to watch. I loved Amber too. A great cast, even down to Amber's dad (who Net and I love in Surprised By Love). Great Great movie !!!!!

    1. Oh, you know it, Sabrina - I absolutely love "Surprised by Love" and ALL the actors & actresses associated with it! I loved seeing "Mr. Mayfield" in "My Favorite Wedding!" He was ideal as the tense, uneasy father-of-the-bride!

I think many of us agree... "My Favorite Wedding" is definitely one of the best this year! I've been a fan of Maggie Lawson's for years... so, I hoped her quirky character would be a perfect match with Paul Greene's charismatic charm! I'm so glad it was! They had such great chemistry together, much like Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith, or Hilarie Burton and Paul Campbell!!! :)

  8. Absolutely LOVED My Favorite Wedding! It's for sure my favorite of the June Wedding movies and I think might even be my overall favorite of 2017 so far. Paul and Maggie have fantastic chemistry together, and I just loved the story!
