PLOT:

Storyline via Hallmark: Brilliant, dedicated, and driven, archaeologist Emma Fielding is trying to unearth evidence of a 17th century coastal Maine settlement that predates Jamestown, one of the most significant archaeological finds in years. But the dead body that accompanies it has embroiled Emma and her students in a different kind of exploration.

  2. I was SO hoping that this movie/series would be a mystery that didn't involve murder or death, but it looks like it does. Personally, even though all of Hallmark's murder mysteries are "light" compared to what they could be, I still don't like the dark, underlying theme of them. Thankfully, there are happier, lighter movies on the regular Hallmark channel, so there I will stay. :)

  7. My family really enjoyed this movie and I thought it was a great start to the series! I wonder if the series is going to take place in the same town (like in the other Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie series) or if the mysteries will take place in different places (like in the Emma Fielding book series)?
