PLOT:
Storyline via Hallmark: When renovation expert Shannon Hughes suspects foul play in the death of her friend and neighbor, a famous crime reporter who is also her new client, pitches in to help her get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding the man's death, and the $10 million in jewels that might be hidden somewhere in his house.

Looking forward to seeing this new mystery, especially since Colin Ferguson is in it! Eureka is one of my all-time favorite shows. I love that both my favorite actors from that show, Colin Ferguson and Niall Matter, are starring in Hallmark movies now.

DeleteI've read all of the Fixer Upper books and thoroughly enjoyed them. Whoever cast the movie based on the book evidently never read any of the books. None of the movie cast matches any of the characters in the book. Shannon is a personable curly locks redhead and Mac is devestatingly handsome and charming, Jensen a Nordic looking hunk, and . . . Am trying to wipe the movie characters from my mind so I can enjoy future novels without thinking of the horrible casting for this new series. Love the books, hate what Hallmark has done with them. Terrible casting!
