  1. This does look cute! I love movies with alternate reality sequences, the "what ifs"....

I'm another one who likes the alternate reality and/or glimpse-into-the-future and/or go-back-in-time-to-right-a-wrong stories.

    1. "The Birthday Wish" will first premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday January 21, 2017.

I will be sure to post it in the HALLMARK MOVIES ON DVD from A to Z page, if it becomes available on DVD.

Sometimes, they can be released quickly, or other times it may take some time, even a year or more. Just depends.

  5. Lovely movie to watch with your better half. Love the dog, Max. Was Max a Sarplaninec breed? Big shephard's dog

    1. Awww, that is so sweet!!! Hope someone can answer your question as far as dog breed.

Glad to hear - you liked this movie! ;)

    2. I think the dog is a Leonberger. It could have been one of Morgan Williams' dogs. I know she does a lot of movies, Broadway shows and fashion shows.

    1. Thank you for sharing, Tabitha! I thought they made a cute match, too. Was so nice to see Jessy Schram again! She was so wonderful in "Harvest Moon," and I so agree, Tabitha... Luke was great in "Mistletoe Promise!"

So glad you liked them together in "The Birthday Wish!"

    2. Agreed, Tabitha. Luke was great in "Mistletoe Promise" and in everything he's in. :) Truly, a great actor. And Jessy was perfect for the role in this movie; she has great talent as well. I too hope Hallmark uses these two fantastic actors in more of their movies! (Please, Hallmark!)
This movie definitely shined! One of the better Hallmark movies!

  7. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED! This movie was perfect for a Saturday night. :)

Jessy Schram and Luke Macfarlane are terrific actors apart, but together? Perfect! Their chemistry was top-notch!
Sweet, fun story and so comical. I haven't laughed that much in a Hallmark movie in a long time, and "I dearly love to laugh!"
I always like to know what happens after the "happily ever after" so I was pleased that this movie did a "one year later." And I was even more pleased to see a "ten years later." Seeing the ten years later was a perfect end because we were able to see her wish come full circle. I love knowing how things end up for the characters in the future.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this little gem. It is one of my favorite Hallmarks! Very good! I will enjoy it for years to come!

I also hope that Hallmark continues to utilize Luke and Jessy with their phenomenal talent!

    1. The building was Swaneset Resort in Pitt Meadows. The snow and cabins etc. were not.

  11. I was trying to find out myself but I'm almost positive it's a Leonberger. I have one and that dog looks like a typical male.
