  1. Finally! I've been searching for this song forever! I hear this newly recorded version is different, but still really good. Some say it has a soulful feel. Can't wait to finally download it and hear it for myself! Thanks for giving us the link, Net! I always click through your website!

  3. I'm sure this new version is nice, but I'm just wondering, why couldn't they use the actress from the movie to record this song originally two years ago? Course, I'm assuming she's the one we are actually hearing in the movie. Don't know if that is the case or not. The credits are too small for me to actually read at the end of the movie since they always shrink them to promote something else.

  4. I like the new version & bought it. But I am kinda miffed that they didn't use the original one. I loved how she sang it.

  5. Actually think this new version is even better than the movie. I like that it is in a lower range, Jessalyn Gilsig was good but Abby Celso is wonderful.

  7. I just listened to the snippet, and other than the different singer, it sounds JUST LIKE the performance from the movie: female voice, accompanied mostly by piano, with touches of cello and a backup choir.

  11. Has the song "Twas the Night", where it is the featured song in "Angels and Ornaments", also been used in other Hallmark movies. I sometimes hear the piano version as background music during quiet moments in other Hallmark movies. Or am I dreaming?

    1. You have an excellent ear for music! One of the composers for the "Twas the Night" song is Stacey Hersh and he has created scores for many Christmas movies - on Hallmark, Lifetime, etc... including: Christmas Dance, The Christmas Cure, On the Twelfth Day of Christmas, Sound of Christmas and more!

You can see his IMDB page here for more music credits:
      https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1598010/

His music is quite beautiful. I love it the best in "Angels and Ornaments" and "Christmas Dance" (also known as: "Come Dance with Me").

Hope this information is helpful to you!
