    1. That's Christian Convery! He also starred in the Hallmark Channel movie, "Hearts of Spring". Did anyone else notice that his character's name in "My Christmas Dream" (Cooper) sounds similar to his character's name in "Hearts of Spring" (Connor)?

Misty -- He is adorable, and he is in another Hallmark Christmas movie this year too! He is very busy! He will also be appearing in the Alicia Witt/Gabriel Hogan movie, "Christmas List."

  4. I agree! Cooper stole the show. Unlike in the Crown for Christmas, Danica was just ok in this movie.

  6. I really feel the quality of these movies has gone down this year. Way too many movies being churned out! I almost feel like a lot of these actors and actresses are 'just mailing it in'. My husband and I are huge fans of the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries and we have both been extremely disappointed in the holiday movie offerings this year. So far, we only liked 'Love Always Santa' and 'Christmas Cookies'. We did enjoy 'Finding Father Christmas' but thought the ending, while sweet, was not realistic. I have to say, though, the cast of 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' hit it 'out of the ballpark' this year. Especially the last movie that aired in September. I balled like a baby! I truly love those movies with every part of my being. Always very touching and moving.

    1. I agree. I've been so disappointed with all the Hallmark Christmas movies so far. I haven't watched "Love Always, Santa" and none of the rest of Hallmark's offerings stood out for me. Some of them are just not very well made. The connection between the leads sometimes feel unnatural. The storylines are often repetitive, which I know is the case for most Hallmark movies, but all the christmas movies have been truly disappointing.

I've been just rewatching some of the great past Christmas movies like "Snow Bride", "Nine Lives of Christmas", and "Love at the Thanksgiving Parade". Why can't Hallmark make movies like those anymore? Those movies have great chemistry between the leads with realistic and natural connection, not forced, and great writing & dialogues.

With that said, My Christmas Dream was just alright for me. I felt that Danica's character seemed a bit too frazzled most of the time. Cooper was wonderful though! He was the one who made the show for me and got me through finishing it!

  7. I love Danica McKellar, she’s always adorable and super cute. Unfortunately for her (and us!), the movie was a predictable silly mashup of already seen films with the bad addition of the most ANNOYING assistant manager ever!
