Don't forget to add Cristina Rosato to the cast list -- people who loved the movie "Finding Christmas" a few years ago will be happy to see her in another Hallmark film!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Just added her name! :)
DeleteWould love to know the titles of the French songs in the movie! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the soundtrack was fabulous, but since I don't know French, I can't search on the lyrics like I normally would. Maybe Hallmark can help us out???

ReplyDeleteI didn't know what to expect but this was really very nicely acted, no over the top and all characters were realistic. Chef Cupid's publicist was the weak link but thankfully her appearance is really limited. I loved that the teen daughter wasn't over the top and all characters' relationships worked well. I've returned to let the movie run in the background when I cook or even do work, it has a nice pace and excellent music.
ReplyDeleteI would love to know where this was filmed at !
ReplyDeleteCorrect me if I'm wrong...I believe it was filmed in Montreal, Canada.
ReplyDeleteYou're correct. That's where it was filmed.
DeleteI really like Summer Villa! Actors were great and chemistry was good. Storyline was okay but it was really fun to watch.

ReplyDeleteI really liked Summer Villa as well! Being a huge fan of Continuum, it was great to see Victor Webster again. Hilarie Burton is cute as a romance novelist with writer's block and Emorphia Margaritas is adorable as her daughter, Abby. A delightful summer escape.
ReplyDeleteWIll this be on DVD?
ReplyDeleteI had this movie saved but then had to replace my cable box. When will it be on? Already tired of all the Christmas movies!
ReplyDeleteSummer Villa won't be on at all for the rest of this year. The Christmas movies are solidly in place through January 1st, and the post-holiday schedule is not known this far in advance.
DeleteMy guess is that Summer Villa will either be shown on a weekend in January or February. Hallmark certainly won't wait until Summer 2017 to show it again, but I just don't know if it will be shown during Winterfest (January movie event) first or if they will wait and show it during the Countdown to Valentine's Day.
It's not going to be on for a long time. And if you're tired of the Christmas movies already, you might want to steer clear of the Hallmark channel until 2017.
DeleteRe Summer Villa....Do you happen to know the artist who did the artwork/canvases that appear a. Behind the Editor's desk in her office and b. At the Summer Villa? I believe both works were done by the same person. Much obliged.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to vote. Can you help me with the right way for my vote to count?
ReplyDeleteSorry😀 You have to view on phone as webpage. I voted!
ReplyDeleteI loved this movie! Where can I buy the floral curtains in mom's bedroom?
ReplyDeleteCan I buy this movie somewhere?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I haven't seen an official DVD release for this one..... yet!
DeleteKeep on working, great job!
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting the music from this movie. I really appreciate it.
ReplyDeletewhat song is playing when she gets in his car to go see renee for dinner?
ReplyDeleteIt is France Gall - Quand on Est Ensemble, from 1966. France Gall has a treasure trove of wonderful French pop songs such as this. Many can be seen on Youtube.
DeleteThe song is by French singer France Gall. It is "Quand no Est Ensemble" and one of many wonderful French pop songs she released. This song is from 1966. Many of her songs can be viewed on youtube.
DeleteWas there a Mozart piece played towards the last 30 minutes of the movie?
