It's My *CHRISTMAS IN JULY* DAY!!!

Remember how I shared a few weeks back - that there is a "Christmas in July" Party taking place on the web-site ChristmasTVHistory.com hosted by author Joanna Wilson? Well, today is my day to share My Christmas favorites! See them here!

"It's a window into my world..."

Here are the 5 questions that were asked...
1) What Christmas episode/special/or movie always puts you in the holiday spirit?
 2) What Christmas program or scene brings you to tears?
3) What's your favorite quote of dialogue, song lyric, or sentiment from a Christmas program?
4) Is there a Christmas program that unintentionally frightens you--or turns you off?
5) Name one character from Christmas entertainment with whom you closely identify? and explain why.

Stop by ChristmasTVHistory.com today to read my responses, and please share a comment, either here or there, to let me know what you think of it, and which Christmas answers you (hopefully!) love, too!!!

Also, for all the Christmas Movie fans, be sure to check out previous postings and wonderful responses. I think you will truly enjoy reading about all the Christmas favorites & not so favorites, in regard to Question #4!

Have a Happy "Christmas in July" Day!!!

  1. Hi, Net! As usual, you hit it out of the ball park!! Everyone loves Charlie Brown; such a learning tool for all ages and Jimmy Stewart brings tears to my eyes just thinking of him. I, too, was a little "creeped out" re: #4, lol, but rejoiced over the ending! "Meet Me in St. Louis" had it all, so I can see how you could relate. Judy Garland was a treasure with a talent never ending. Great post!! Great answers!!

  2. I always thought "It's a Wonderful Life" was your favorite movie since "It's a Wonderful Movie" is the name of your blog, but "A Charlie Brown Christmas!" is a great option, and so is "A Christmas Carol" can't say a word about "Mr. Krueger's Christmas" because I never watched it, but after reading this I am going to look for it, thanks for another great article Net, Merry Christmas in July to you and yours!

    1. Oh yes, 'It's a Wonderful Life' is my ultimate Favorite Christmas Movie and you are so right, it is the very reason I named this site 'It's a Wonderful Movie'.

Since Joanna asked which movie/special puts you in the Holiday spirit, I thought it to mean which show FIRST gives you the feeling of Christmas, and since Charlie Brown is typically one of the first specials played during the holidays, I thought that suited that question best. 'It's a Wonderful Life' will always be #1 to me... In fact, it was my answer for question 3.

Thank you for your comment, Anderson! So great to hear from you! :)
