  2. Is Tulips in Spring part of Hallmark's Spring Fling movies? I'm confused.

Lol. It does seem misplaced, doesn't it? It seems like it should have been part of Spring Fling. Originally there were supposed to be 4 Spring Fling movies, and, for some reason, we ended up with 3. While I think Denise Hunter indicated that "The Convenient Groom" was supposed to have been part of Spring Fling at first (and got delayed), that doesn't make any sense since it fits perfectly in the June Weddings theme.

Still, though, one of the Spring Fling movies went missing. Maybe Hallmark saw that it wouldn't be finished in time to make the April line-up, or maybe filming had to be delayed?

An easy way to explain it would have been for Hallmark to just say "Spring Fling covers April and May," and then anything that aired in April and May would fit into that theme.

  3. Net, I was on the website for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and I discovered that an official page for the movie “Flower Shop Mystery: Dearly Depotted” has been created! On that page, there is also an official poster for the movie.

    Net --

Did you notice that Tracy Andreen is one of the writers of the teleplay for "Tulips in Spring"? She has written several Hallmark movies, but one of the most notable efforts is "Snow Bride."

In "Snow Bride," which is at least partially set in Los Angeles (if not wholly), Greta (played by Katrina Law) is working on a tabloid story about the Tannenhill family... until she falls for Ben (Jordan Belfi), of course.

In "Tulips in Spring," Rose (Fiona Gubelmann) is living and working in Los Angeles, on a big project at the Tannenhill family home (they are out of the country)!

Since Tracy Andreen had a hand in writing both of these stories, I have a feeling the mention of the Tannenhill family in "Tulips in Spring" was no coincidence. It's probably supposed to be the same Los Angeles family.

Tracy also worked on "Ice Sculpture Christmas" -- which I have not seen since December. That was not supposed to be set in Los Angeles too, was it? I don't recall any random Tannenhill mentions in that one.

    1. I don’t believe that “Ice Sculpture Christmas” was set in Los Angeles (especially since there was snow on the ground in some of the scenes). In fact, I didn’t know about any family named Tannenhill until you brought it up. I wouldn’t be surprised if that name was mentioned during any scenes taking place at the country club. Based on a review I read for the movie "Snow Bride" and based on your comment, Sherry, it sounds like the Tannenhill family are a wealthier family who would rather lift people up than tear them down. Maybe the reason why Tracy Andreen keeps incorporating the Tannenhill family into her stories is because she may create a Hallmark movie about them? If the idea sparks enough interest in Hallmark fans and viewers, maybe it can become a movie series? If Tracy Andreen did create any Hallmark productions about the Tannenhill family, I think it could work (especially since that concept hasn’t really been seen before). Since “Good Witch” became a television series, Hallmark currently doesn’t have any movie series airing on their channel. If Tracy Andreen did ever decide to create a movie series about the Tannenhill family, it would be a good way to fill the void that “Good Witch” left behind.

Whenever I try to view the page with the list of movies being released in 2016, I get a message saying that the page doesn’t exist. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
