Ooooooh...this sounds intense; hope I remember to watch it!! Net, I thought I recognized Greg Bryk; he played in "Mistletoe Over Manhatten"....I adored that movie!!
ReplyDeleteYep, that is him ... with Mrs. Clausberger in "Mistletoe Over Manhatten"! So cute!
DeletePlus, he and his wife used to have a DIY Network Home Renovating Show a few years back called "A Bryk at a Time". It was a great show, kind of like Chip and Joanna Gaines on HGTV's Fixer Upper, if you are familiar with them. Plus, I have to say as a side-note: I personally think Chip and Joanna are a joy to watch and they do beautiful work! I also remember Greg Bryk and his wife Danielle having some amazing reveals, too, on their show, and they also were balancing raising young children, while doing all of these renovation projects!
I am on the survey panel for UP (it covers some other channels too), and they recently asked me about this movie. I was given a list of titles and I had to pick the one I liked best (I can't recall which one I picked, but I don't think it was this one!). I was also given different variations of the plot/storyline and I had to pick which one I preferred.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see it now come to the channel as an actual movie, with a female lead I recognize (for some reason I was thinking the star would be someone I didn't know)!
I took that same survey, Sherry! So glad to see more original movies coming on UP!
DeleteWow! That's so neat you guys got to be part of a survey for a cable movie!
DeleteMisty
Yes, it is neat! UP offered the opportunity to all of their viewers, actually. It was featured on the bottom of the screen while you watched some of their shows. They provided a link online to sign up and from there, we take their polls, questionnaires, etc... It's a great way to give feedback on their programming!
DeleteI'm wondering when we'll hear news about the new dramady they've developing. I took a survey on it months ago,and voted for the title
DeleteSaw a commercial for it! Its now called High Rise Rescue and premieres in August
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Anonymous, for giving me the first tip on the premiere for this movie. After I received this news from you, I reached out to UP, who confirmed all the details and informed me the premiere date would be August 13. There was, for a time, a wrong premiere date floating around, so I wanted to be sure.
DeleteI added a new post for High Rise Rescue in the midst of Christmas in July! Hope you saw it!
If not, here it is:
