  1. Is hallmark going to do a special movie time for Doris Roberts?

    1. I haven't heard of them doing anything special, but I think that would be very nice. They did share a picture on their Facebook and Twitter with a tribute to her as Mrs. Miracle. They also recently recognized Patty Duke, on social media, after her recent passing. Shortly afterwards, I know they played one of her movies on HMM, but that was most likely already coincidentally scheduled.

I think a tribute would be very nice. I felt the same after Ernest Borgnine, "A Grandpa for Christmas" passed, but unfortunately, they didn't play anything special, in remembrance, at that time either.

    1. Yes, Brooke is fun as detective and Brennan is fantastic, too! They make a great duo!

When Brooke Shields also recently joined the cast of "When Calls the Heart" as Jack's Mother, I wasn't sure, at first, how that would work, but she was excellent, from the start, in that role! An Annie Oakley of the Wild West, and yet a feminine pioneer woman, too! She fit the part perfectly and I sincerely hope they can work with her again in Season 4!

Enjoy the mystery, Linda! Thank you for commenting! :)

  3. Net, I just saw on Hallmark Channel’s website that the movie “The Promposal” had its name changed to “Date with Love”. Also, when are the rest of the voting polls for the “It’s a Wonderful Movie” awards going to be posted?

    1. Yes, I saw that, too! Interesting title change. I think I liked "The Promposal" better because the name made it stick out amongst all the other Hallmark romantic comedies. Perhaps, they thought the title would not attract their key demographic, which is highly possible. "Date with Love" is more general, and not specific to any age group.

As for the rest of the polls... you should expect to see the first set of Favorite Actors & Actresses Nominees this Wednesday!
