Candace Cameron Bure recently shared via instagram that she and fellow co-star Miranda Frigon (A Cookie Cutter Christmas) are in the midst of filming, not one, but TWO upcoming Aurora Teagarden Mysteries... the first one being "Three Bedrooms, One Corpse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery"!

Storyline of "Three Bedrooms, One Corpse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery" via Wikipedia:
"While Aurora "Roe" Teagarden searches for her piece of the American dream, she decides to test the waters of the family business - real estate sales. Only thing is there's a dead body in the first house she shows. When a second body shows up in another home, Roe realizes there's more to real estate than she thought."
*Stay tuned... and I will update later on with Hallmark's official plot details for this movie and when we will expect to see this movie and the Aurora Teagarden Mystery Movie #4 (Title Currently Unkonwn) - air on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel!
*A Special Thank You to Jill (who, by the way, is an awesome movie finder & friend to "It's a Wonderful Movie")... for commenting to be sure we all saw this Mystery Movie info! Thanks so much!!! :)
How fun! Cannot wait to watch these whenever they air; whenever Aurora has a new puzzle to solve, we're always guaranteed a fun mystery to puzzle over. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates.
I know just what you mean, Rissi! That is an excellent way to describe the Aurora mysteries... There are definitely fun puzzles to solve by trying to put together all the pieces before they're revealed!!! So glad you love 'em, too! Thanks for commenting!!! :)
DeleteThis made my day! I love the Aurora Teagarden Mystery movies. I also can't get enough of Candice Cameron Bure. So happy and excited!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, well I'm most glad this news brought joy to your day! I was excited to share this news and I'm delighted you enjoyed it!
DeleteWhat a treat!! This made my day, too!! I love Candace Cameron Bure and the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries and can't wait for the new ones to air!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Candace will be able to do a Hallmark Christmas movie this year. I suppose she could film it in the summer -- when "The View" is on hiatus -- if there is one in the works.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be an interesting year when it's time for the Christmas movies to roll around, and it makes me wonder if some of the most prolific members in the Hallmark family of actors will have to sit out this holiday season for the first time in a while.
Candace's schedule is getting busier all the time, between "The View" and "Fuller House." Lacey Chabert is pregnant, and due later this year. Alicia Witt is working on the TV series "Nashville" and "The Walking Dead" (the former is filming now, and the latter of which resumes filming in May or so and then continues on through the summer and into fall). Alicia did say (in a recent series of fan questions that she sat down to answer) that she would love to do a Hallmark Christmas movie every year if they will have her, despite her busy schedule. She said she doesn't know what the next movie will be, but she said to "Stay tuned."
So we could end up seeing more new faces than we're used to when the Countdown to Christmas begins!
At the same time, maybe Miranda Frigon will finally get to star in a Hallmark movie, instead of just taking a supporting role.
It is so great to hear from you, Sherry! I was most excited to receive your comment and fascinating insight. I always enjoy reading your intuitive understanding of all things Hallmark!
DeleteNow, to what you wrote... I agree with you, it absolutely might be tougher for all the stars we are used to seeing in Christmas movies come back this year. I'm hopeful because Hallmark does have a record of turning them out quickly, but who knows?
I also wondered if Candace's second Aurora film, if it could possibly be a Christmas themed mystery? I have no proof, or anything... It was just a hunch of mine, that Candace might have a Christmas movie for HMM this year, and maybe not the Hallmark Channel. And, who knows if she'll host the Thanksgiving week event, or perhaps maybe someone else like Danica McKellar!?!?
Looks like we have plenty of mysteries to solve and I'm always glad to have your help!!!
Blessings! Net :)
Hi, Net! Thank you for the kind words -- it's nice to be missed! :) I've been tied up with some other things -- in fact, one of which I should be working on at this very moment and am not! -- and trying to keep up with what's been happening in the Hallmark movie world. I know I had some random thoughts and comments about assorted things that I had planned to come here to express at some point -- and now I think I have forgotten what some of the thoughts were! Lol. Let me see if I can remember most of them (and they will probably be pertaining to various Hallmark things)....
Delete1. Yes, an Aurora Teagarden Christmas-themed movie would take care of the "annual Candace Christmas movie" issue as well as fulfill her obligation to Hallmark in the Teagarden series. Good thinking, Net!
2. If Lacey is going to be appearing in anything for Hallmark this year, it seems like she'd probably have to start filming it fairly soon, before she starts showing. I just cannot picture a year without a new Lacey movie on Hallmark, if not 2 or 3 new movies!
3. I am sure you noticed, Net, that in Autumn Reeser's recent movie, "Valentine Ever After," there was no kitten anywhere in sight. So that makes me think, once again, of that photo Autumn posted on social media (around the time she finished shooting "Valentine Ever After"), in which she is holding the kitten and standing in front of Christmas décor. She said the kitten was a good way to end a movie and a year. Could she have filmed back-to-back movies for Hallmark while they had access to real snow? Maybe she already shot some scenes for an upcoming Christmas movie?
4. During Winterfest I observed that the "Fall Harvest" label was removed from Hallmark's commercial, where it shows event titles and clips from all of its themed movie events. At that time it showed Countdown to Valentine's Day, June Weddings and Countdown to Christmas. Then, at some point after Winterfest ended and the Valentine movie were under way, Spring Fling was inserted between Countdown to Valentine's Day and June Weddings in the ad. Still no Fall Harvest title -- even though you can see brief clips of the Fall Harvest movies from last year. The most recent version of the promo/ad does not have Fall Harvest either. I can't imagine that Hallmark would skip it, as it was a popular event in 2015. But why would they jump from June Weddings to Countdown to Christmas in the promo? That makes it seems like Fall Harvest is not happening.
(Continued in next post...)
(Continued from my previous post...)
Delete5. Also confusing are the ever-changing dates, line-ups and titles in Hallmark Land. Initially, when Spring Fling was first announced, it was supposed to involve 4 new movies, all premiering in April. Then it changed to only 3 new movies, beginning on March 26th (the first of which was supposed to be "Hearts of Spring"/"Mommy Bloggers"). Now it's 3 movies, all in April, with "All Yours"/"The Manny" being the first one in line! Lol. It's not as if this is the first time a schedule or anything else has changed with Hallmark -- it seems to happen all the time now. (Remember last year, when "Dashing Through the Snow" was supposed to premiere on HMM, and then it was announced as being part of the Countdown to Christmas on the main Hallmark Channel, only to end up premiering on HMM after all?) What is going on at Hallmark that these details are constantly changing? It seems like there must be two different departments working separately, who are not on the same page.
6. Since this year's Countdown to Valentine's Day was drastically cut back from the 2015 version in that it was not all day and all night, only one movie aired on weekdays, and a lot of movies that would have ordinarily been included in the line-up were not shown over the 2 weeks....
Does anyone else think that this is a sign of what's to come with the Countdown to Christmas? I think it could mean that one extreme or the other will happen. Either someone at Hallmark suddenly decided that no one wants or needs an extensive holiday marathon and will seriously cut back the schedule/number of hours in the Countdown to Christmas this year (meaning there would still be 17+ premieres, but a limited schedule for the daily movies), OR... because they cut back the hours and schedule for Valentine's Day, maybe they are going to bulk up the Countdown to Christmas even more, making it a bit longer by starting it earlier or ending it a bit later.
7. Also, does the reduced Valentine's schedule mean that Christmas in July -- which would normally be a 10-day event, with 4 movies each weekday and maybe 6 or so movies on weekends -- will be downsized to one movie each day, or bulked up to include a longer schedule with more movies?
Great points, Sherry!
DeleteI did notice the missing kitten in Autumn Reeser's movie! I'm so glad you mentioned it! I too am curious if that means it is possible she is perhaps in a Christmas movie. I sure hope so!
As for Lacey Chabert... You are so right, She would be terribly missed if they can't squeeze a Christmas movie in with her expecting!
As for the theme Fall Harvest, that is such a great catch that you noticed it isn't mentioned in the promo commercial. Interesting!?!? Surely they plan to bring it back, or maybe as you said they'll start Christmas even sooner. It probably hasn't been decided, yet.
I have reported some Christmas movies that are coming this year here :
http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2016/01/early-christmas-movie-news-for-2016.html. Includes some new Hallmark movies that are coming!
It's pretty exciting to see all the new shows and movies coming to Hallmark!!!
Sherry, you're back!! We missed you girl and all your tasty tidbits....so enjoyed the read!!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I agree 100%! :)
DeleteThank you so much, Linda (and Net)!! :) You both are very sweet.
DeleteI really enjoyed the first two Aurora Teagarden mysteries. Looking forward to seeing these two new ones. My favorite mystery tv movie series are the Aurora Teagarden ones, and next are probably the Garage Sale Mystery ones. And not just 'cause I a Full House fan. I enjoy the characters, mystery, and environment more, on these two mysteries, compared to the Murder She Baked and other mystery movies so far.
ReplyDeleteHi there!
ReplyDeleteThe fourth Aurora Teagarden movie appears to be "The Julius House" according to Production Weekly.

Oh my goodness, H.R.! I just went to production weekly's web-site to check it out! I'm impressed. Aurora's name wasn't even listed with the title, but you found it listed as "The Julius House". You are truly an awesome sleuth - terrific detective work on this one!!!
DeleteI adore Yannick Bisson - he's yummy! I watch him in Murdoch Mysteries. Please bring him back.
