    1. How is the casting perfect? Abby's character is much younger than brooke shields and has red hair! Also, her dad is paralyzed in the books. I dislike the movies the Hallmark channel made from Joanne Flukes books, the characters are all wrong, same with this movie.

    2. I think Brennan Elliott will bring a charm to Marco just as he has in the book and I like Brooke Shields' sassiness although I was expecting a younger actress along the lines of Summer Reeser. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt until I see it.
Now, about the Fluke novels, I agree. I didn't at the beginning and still don't like Allison Sweeney in the role.

  2. Kate Drummond plays the role of Nikki Bender.

  3. Enjoyed this first installment of the series. I have not read the books but I can see where Brooke's character would be better served by a younger actress. She seemed a little too old and mature for some of the thought and action processes of this particular film. I thought Brennan and Beau are well cast for their parts as is Kate as Nikki. Sometimes reading the books before seeing the movie is not a plus. I believe the main reason movies often do not represent the books positively is the screen writers attempt to put their stamp on the piece, which unfortunately is disastrous most of the time. (Worst ever was Spielberg's horrible depiction of "The Lost World" which was a remarkable sequel to "Jurassic Park." I could not put the book down and the movie was really a monster, Spielberg's worst movie ever in my opinion.)

  5. Really enjoyed this movie. Nice to see the heroine wasn't some dumb child who wouldn.t be able to figure things out, but a grown woman...refreshing. I usually read the books first, but I am glad this time I didn't. Can't wait to see MORE....thank you!!
