  1. While this movie looks a tad reminiscent of "Growing the Big One," I bet this cast will hit it out of the park.

I just recently saw Jesse Schram in a super cute movie, "Reluctant Nanny" on PIXL. I am not a Dish customer, but I decided to pay the $2.11 per month ($1.99 plus tax) for the YouTube PIXL channel.

Just FYI for you, Net, I started noticing on IMDB a couple of Larry Levinson Production movies that weren't showing up on Hallmark Channel and did a little research to see where they were going, if anywhere.

I'm not sure if there is an official relationship between Hallmark and PIXL, or if Larry Levinson Productions treats both Hallmark and PIXL as possible channels for their films, depending on which ones Hallmark picks up. But I've now watched several movies on the YouTube PIXL channel, and I've been very impressed. Some of the stars and cameo roles have included Teri Polo (multiple Hallmark movies), Cameron Daddo (from A Kiss at Midnight), Corey Sevier (Cedar Cove), Arielle Kebbel (A Bride for Christmas), Adam Mayfield (Matchmaker Santa), and the like.

Just something for you to check out if you get curious about it.

    1. I heard of that 'station' and wondered why some of those movies never end up on Hallmark. I did notice some do though.

    2. Yes, I have heard of PIXL! But, thank you for sharing - as I'm sure others here would love to check it out - especially if they do not have any cable service.

I so wish DirecTV had it - that I almost moved to DISH just to have that station! But, alas... I stayed with DirecTV because DISH had lost some other stations that I liked for a time. Anyway, I hear it's great and I love that it is commercial free. Unfortunately, due to my internet connection I don't think I would enjoy the online service - but it sounds great!

    3. PIXL is Levinson's network he puts some of his movies on. Dish Network carries it as well however rarely are new movies premiered on it so its not worth paying extra for. Some of the movies on their are just ones he did for Hallmark under a different title. And there's been problems with him refusing to pay his movie writers when he runs the movies on that network.

I've heard about PIXL in the past, and noticed that quite a few of the movies air there first, before going to Hallmark. Also, some of them have the different titles, as mentioned by Anonymous above. I wasn't aware that there were any movies premiering on PIXL that didn't end up airing on Hallmark (or maybe UP or Ion) at some point. If that's the case, I will definitely check out the PIXL YouTube channel!

    5. I really want to watch these movies on YouTube PIXL channel but I´m from Austria and youtube won´t play them : "Sorry, this movie is not available in your country"! Does anyone know another platform where I could watch them? Thanks a lot!

    6. If you plan on checking out the Pixl Youtube channel only pay for it for a month or two. Otherwise its a waste of money. on Because I always see complaints on the PIXL Facebook page about people paying monthly yet it takes 2 or 3 months before a new movie is added and not all the ones that air on the TV channel are available on youtube.

    1. I'm not sure how "Anonymous" heard about it, but I believe I discovered it through doing online searches for Hallmark movies and since they play many of the same movies - that's how I found it!

  4. Harvest Moon looks like a good one with Jessy & Jessie! Love Jessy Schram as Cinderella on OUAT. She's a breath of fresh air. I know I've seen her in lots of stuff, but has she been in anything else on Hallmark?

    1. Yes, she was in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie "A Smile as Big as the Moon", with John Corbett. She portrayed a teacher, who helped to take special needs students to NASA. She seemed very gentle and sweet in that movie, a great character for her.

    2. Jessy Schram also appeared in the Jane Doe movie series (2005-2008) on Hallmark, as Cathy Davis/Jane Doe's (portrayed by Lea Thompson) daughter.

  11. Thank you for your reply. The song I am looking for is in the scene in which they go to the dance (not at the end) and the characters are line dancing. It's an upbeat song with the lyrics "I think I'm thinking too much" in it. Can't find it anywhere.
