She had Style, Elegance, Grace, and an air of Sophistication.
Actress Lauren Bacall
was one of the great actresses, of a bygone era.
I just adore her in the lighthearted Christmas Movie,
All I Want for Christmas, (pictured above)
where she portrays the loving and supportive Grandmother,
who was once a star of the stage.

At the age of 89, on August 12, 2014, legendary actress Lauren Bacall passed away.
My prayers and condolences go out now to her dear family and friends.
Let us not forget Robin Williams' Christmas movie: Jumanji - at the end there is a lovely scene at Christmas, which makes it a Christmas movie!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this Nice tribute. What a star! She and Humphrey were something special back in the day. They don't make them like they used to. I also like the Christmas movie you mentioned though they don't play it very often.
