  1. I'm surprised "The Twelve Trees Of Christmas" wasn't on the list. It was one of the better movies this year.

Also, I know the "Thanksgiving House" isn't technically a Christmas movie but I would have thought it would have been on the list. Especially since "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" was last year.

    Overall it's a good list.

    1. Thanksgiving House is listed under the family movie poll. I liked it too. "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" included Santa, which made it feel more Christmassy. Thanksgiving House didn't have a Christmas feel. I like how they explained a bit of history in it. I hope the Hallmark Channel airs it again around Thanksgiving.

    2. Glad you found "Thanksgiving House", Anonymous! I agreed with your thoughts on the two movies. "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" did have a more Christmassy feel. I debated where to put "Thanksgiving House" and decided it fit best under Family Movies.

  2. No offense but I wasn't personally taken with 12 trees. What did that have to do with the library? Just didn't think it made sense. Everybody changed their minds too quickly.

  8. I think the list is great. I wish Christmas for a Dollar was doing a little better. People probably just didn't see it since it was on UP and not on Hallmark. Trust me, if you missed this mvie, you missed a great movie. Get the dvd. You'll enjoy it and the whole family can watch it, too.

  9. Net - thank you for taking the time to do this every year! It's wonderful to see which movies resonated with other people. I don't get the UP network so I appreciate your efforts and the efforts of others here to help me decide which DVDs are family-friendly and worth adding to my family's library. I will definitely be purchasing Christmas for a Dollar. I think Hallmark won the award again this year for best movies not only at Christmas but all year long. Just a fantastic network that my family can sit down and watch together on cold winter nights!
