As we are nearing the end of Christmas Movies on TV for the 2013 Christmas Season, I have already discovered news on potential new Christmas Movies for 2014 and 2015! Details below!

If you have seen the commercial on the Hallmark Channel - thanking viewers for their support during this Christmas Season, then you may have also caught in the commercial that the Hallmark Channel will be back again next year on November 1st, 2014 with many of the Christmas Movies we love plus 12 New Original Christmas Movies!

The first New Movie is: NORTHPOLE - Coming in 2014!

Hallmark Channel is proud to announce a collaboration with Hallmark Cards, Inc., to create the Hallmark Channel Original Holiday Movie, ‘NORTHPOLE.’ Casting of the film is TBD. ‘NORTHPOLE’ tells the charming tale about a reporter who, with the help of her son and his teacher, recaptures the joy of the holiday season and in the process saves Christmas. ‘NORTHPOLE’ will premiere in 2014 during the network’s beloved “Countdown To Christmas” programming initiative. The Hallmark Channel has also has acquired pitches for three other Christmas movies, all of which are in development as scripts. (source: The Hollywood Reporter)

A Royal Christmas, tentatively scheduled for Christmas 2014, centers on a young girl who, after accepting her boyfriend’s proposal, learns he is a prince. She must then gain the acceptance of his mother, who looks down on her humble origins. It is being written by Michael and Janeen Damian, who did the 2011 Hallmark original movie, A Princess for Christmas, their second-highest-rated original movie that year. Michael Damian also will direct.

Christmas Neverending, slated for 2015 and being written and directed by Robbie Fox (Playing for Keeps), features a Groundhog Day-esque plot about a girl who learns over Christmas vacation that her parents are planning to divorce. She wants them to fall in love again and makes a wish to repeat her vacation until they reignite their love.

Finally there's Better Than Perfect, a film about a woman’s search for the perfect man that is being written by Brad Holmes (Prison Women) and executive produced by casting director Penny Perry and Eugene Davis.

Titles and release dates for these movies may change - so please stay tuned!

I hope you enjoy this little news on Christmas Movies potentially coming in this New Year! I have personally so enjoyed Hallmark Channel Christmas Movies - day and night during this Christmas Season! I will certainly miss them come January 1st.

Thank you Hallmark Channel for all the wonderful family-friendly movies you show and for truly giving us "the very best"! You certainly are "The Heart of Christmas"!!!

Blessings to all, who visit here...
for a Safe, Healthy, and
Happy New Year 2014!!!

God Bless You All!!!

  4. The "NORTHPOLE" sounds like it has some promise. The other three sound like a different spin on other Christmas movies that I don't care for. This year was good, I just hope Hallmark comes up with new and original plots for these movies.

    1. I agree... NORTHPOLE sounds interesting and they are already marketing this new 2014 Christmas Movie as a movie we will cherish and want to see over and over again for years to come! So now... I am more intrigued than ever!!!

I am sure some movies will be uniquely fresh and others will be familiar and similar to past movies. Whatever the case, let's hope we will still love most of them!

  10. This is wonderful news! Sad that the Christmas movie season is over even though it somehow lasted two months! At our house, we watched all of the new movies from Hallmark this season but recorded many old ones that we haven't seen, as well as others on the UP Network and the ION Network. This year we're going to watch one every couple of weeks to try and remain in the wonderful Christmas spirit that so many people tend to forget about as soon as December 26th rolls around. Thank you for keeping this website running and getting us all excited about the new Christmas movies of 2014 as more information is released!

    1. That sounds wonderful - playing a Christmas Movie every couple weeks! We have been doing that a little bit throughout January, whether it's a Christmas Movie or Christmas themed sitcom and I love it!!!

Actually, as I type right now, I am playing Candace Cameron Bure's movie - "Let it Snow". Such a cute Christmas movie!

Thank you for being a great visitor and for participating in the joy and excitement of the Christmas Season - all year long!!!

  14. I love your website.

Just bookmarked it so I can come back often.

    Excited about CTC 2014...especially Northpole.

I collect most of the Hallmark holiday movies when they become available. As I am new to your site, I was wondering if you post release dates of said movies?
If so, it would save me a lot of browsing from site to site.

My hope is that one day soon, Hallmark will premiere the "Hallmark Holiday Channel"...wouldn't it be awesome if you could tune into a great Hallmark holiday movie anytime?

Thanks again for a great site!!
