Christmas Comes to the Hallmark Movie Channel, too!

The Hallmark "Movie" Channel will be giving Viewers
this Christmas Season...

Something Old, Something New,
Something Borrowed,
and Something from 5th Avenue!

Available on DVD

Again this year, the Hallmark Movie Channel will be airing many Hallmark Christmas Movies and "Something New" - their new film, "Christmas with Tucker" on November 25th. This is a prequel to the Hallmark Hall of Fame Movie, "A Dog Named Christmas."

Along with this new movie, the Hallmark Movie Channel will air Classic Christmas Film Favorites: "Holiday Affair," "Christmas in Connecticut," "The Bishop's Wife," "Babes in Toyland," and as I alluded to before, "It Happened on 5th Avenue."

Please Note: the Hallmark Movie Channel is referred to as HMC in the Christmas Schedule, to prevent any confusion with the regular Hallmark Channel. You can see the air dates for these movies and more, listed on the Christmas TV Schedule.

  1. By any chance, do you know any Halloween schedules? My guide barely goes past a week and I'm curious when certain shows will be on.

Thanks so much! I appreciate all the work you do on this blog!!

    1. Yes, I love It Happened on 5th Avenue, too! I just discovered it about 5 years ago and I think it's an absolute gem!

I am so glad it is getting noticed and will be on HMC this year, as well as TCM!

  3. Hi, Net, hope you can help. I received an e-mail from Amazon.com telling me that five new Christmas releases I ordered are no longer available from the supplier. The Santa Suit, Christmas Magic, The Town Christmas Forgot, Cancel Christmas and Mistletoe Over Manhatten. I ordered these DVD's in July; happen to have any info?

    1. I noticed that those movies you mentioned: The Santa Suit, Christmas Magic, The Town Christmas Forgot, Cancel Christmas and Mistletoe Over Manhattan - were available, in the beginning, on DVD. Then there links were suddenly removed.

However, "Good News"... they have all been added again to Amazon with new links for purchasing on DVD!!!

I recently updated the "New Christmas Movies on DVD" page with these new links! You can see the list here:
      http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2013/07/christmas-2013-dvd-releases-are-here.html

Hope that helps! Let me know if it all works out - this time around.

  4. This really is great news. Turner Classic Movies and occasionally AMC will air some of the older movies but not that frequently so I'm really looking forward to this. Also, can't wait for Christmas with Tucker! Loved the first movie and the books. Now hopefully they'll turn the third book in the series by Greg Kincaid - "A Christmas Home" into a movie as well since that one was also fantastic!

    1. Yes, TCM is giving us lots of great Christmas Movies this year! I, too, love the Classics!

AMC is typically great at showing Bing Crosby favorites: White Christmas and Holiday Inn, etc...

Let me know how you like Christmas with Tucker. I know many loved A Dog Named Christmas and are really looking forward to this prequel.
