PLOT:
OCTOBER BABY is a coming-of-age story of Hannah, a beautiful 19-year-old college freshman. In spite of her energetic (if somewhat naive) personality, Hannah has always felt like an outsider. Something is missing. She has always carried a deep-seated sense that she has no right to exist.
When she discovers she was adopted it comes as a shock, but Hannah's world is rocked even more when she learns why she was never told before - because she was the survivor of a failed abortion. Desperate for answers, she embarks on a road trip with some friends (including her oldest and closest friend Jason) to find her biological mother. In the process she unexpectedly discovers hope, love and forgiveness.
This uplifting and beautiful film may change the way you look at the world, your loved ones...and life.

I absolutely liked October Baby when it first premiered in October in the south! Since then, I've endorsed it extremely!
ReplyDeleteNOTE: I was 15 last year when I first saw it. A mature young person could probably handle the story. It is something that young people should and must see if can they understand it.
I just wanted to let folks know that it is not as bad as it sounds.
I think our young people should hear the message of this movie before it's too late!
But I do understand for real little children it might be a bit too much in one scene verbally.
But truly, it is an incredibly awesome message in this movie! Non-gruesome, zero profanity, no bad content......Just a pure, righteous message about LIFE!
Please support this movie!
Thank you, Kimberly, for sharing your thoughts on October Baby. I haven't seen this movie, yet, but I am looking forward to doing so.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I have heard, it sounds like it has a powerful message that should be heard - by adults and mature teenagers.
I am glad that you liked the movie. Hopefully it has and will continue to affect many lives to come!
