Call Me Mrs Miracle - New Hallmark Christmas Movie is in Production!

August 2, 2010

I first reported to you in April (in a post about Upcoming Christmas Movies) that Hallmark was planning a sequel for Mrs Miracle and now it is in Production!

Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle Movie from last year (2009) must have been a BIG hit with fans, cause they are following up with a sequel this year, again starring the very funny and ever so popular ~ Doris Roberts! I think she is just hilarious! Of course, many of us adore her from Everybody Loves Raymond.

Here are the details, direct from a Hallmark Press Release, that came out July 30, 2010:

FIVE-TIME EMMY® AWARD WINNER DORIS ROBERTS STARS IN

‘DEBBIE MACOMBER’S CALL ME MRS. MIRACLE,’

A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE,

SEQUEL TO LAST YEAR’S TOP-RATED HALLMARK CHANNEL FILM

BASED ON THE BOOK BY BELOVED BEST-SELLING AUTHOR DEBBIE MACOMBER

In Production in Vancouver, B.C.; Movie Premieres November 27

Five-time Emmy® Award winner Doris Roberts stars in “Debbie Macomber’s Call Me Mrs. Miracle,” a Hallmark Channel Original Movie and sequel to the network’s highest-rated film last year. “Debbie Macomber’s Call Me Mrs. Miracle” is currently in production in Vancouver, B.C. and premieres Saturday, November 27 (8p.m. ET/PT; 7CT). The telefilm is based on prolific writer Debbie Macomber’s upcoming literary release, Call Me Mrs. Miracle.

No one celebrates the holidays like Emily Merkle (Roberts) – Mrs. Miracle as she is known by some – who is back to insure that this Christmas is the most magical and meaningful of all. When Mrs. Miracle appears as a seasonal employee in the toy department at the financially troubled Finley’s Department Store, neither the store’s owners, nor the customers, have any idea of the saintly events that are about to unfold. None of them can even say who hired Mrs. Merkle or where exactly she came from, but her illustrious and angelic spirit will dispel gloom, drive away misery, and prove that miracles happen every day, especially on Christmas!

“Debbie Macomber’s Call Me Mrs. Miracle” is an MRM Productions, Ltd. Harvey Kahn is the producer. Michael M. Scott is directing from a script by Nancey Silvers, which is based on the novel Call Me Mrs. Miracle, to be released in September 2010 by Debbie Macomber.
