She gets taken under the wing of Mason, an agent in the PPP from rural Wisconsin, and his daughter Carter (Selena Gomez), an insecure tomboy who works at the local bait shop, and wishes of going to the school dance with her crush Donnie, the school hunk.

In becoming a normal teenager, Rosalinda takes up the name Rosie and very soon she becomes popular at school, which Carter must learn to handle. Although through the ups and downs, the two form a tight bond, with Carter teaching her to become a normal American girl, and Rosie helping Carter to find the princess inside herself.

Movie Review:

This is a sweet tale of two girls from opposite sides of the world who have nothing in common... or so they think!

One girl can only dream of being a princess... while the other dreams of a normal teenage life. Is either what they expected? No. But, in the end, it's their new-found friendship that saves the day!

There's lots of fun scenes... and adventerous moments! The Princess is being chased out of the castle and out of her country in the opening of the movie. She ends up touring a secret hideaway of Princesses who are under the Protection Program. There are lots of high tech TVs and Electronic Gadgets featured.

Rosalinda (the Princess played by Demi Lovato) shows Carter (the normal teenager played by Selena Gomez) that she, too, has the grace and beauty, to be a Princess at the school dance! There's a fun scene where they go and try on dresses together! I love both dresses featured above... so Pretty!

All in all... there's a Happy Disney Ending to this Family Friendly Film... so enjoy!
