“Hailey Dean Mysteries” Three Movie Installments This May

“Hailey Dean Mysteries: Death on Duty”
Premieres Sunday, May 5 (9pm ET/PT) on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Psychologist and former prosecutor Hailey Dean (Martin) aids her friend Detective Fincher Garland (Leacock) in investigating the murder of his former Marine friend. With a growing list of suspects who each seem to have strong motives, Hailey uses her investigative skills, as well as her uncanny ability to read people, to follow the clues that will lead them to the killer. And, when the body of a female Marine shows up in the same park where Fincher’s friend was found, the case takes a whole new turn as Hailey uncovers a conspiracy that puts her own life in danger as she pursues justice for the victims.

“Hailey Dean Mysteries: A Prescription for Murder”
Premieres Sunday, May 12 (9pm ET/PT) on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Psychologist and former prosecutor Hailey Dean (Martin) aids her friend Detective Fincher Garland (Leacock) in investigating a rapidly growing string of murders at Atlanta Memorial Hospital when Fincher’s girlfriend is named a suspect in the first killing. As the list of suspects grows with each new victim’s death, Hailey’s keen investigative skills, her uncanny ability to read people and her passion for justice lead her through a labyrinth of clues that could point to the killer.

“Hailey Dean Mysteries: Killer Sentence”
Premieres Sunday, May 19 (9pm ET/PT) on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

With all evidence pointing to Paulina (Holly) as Clayton’s killer, Hailey has to trust her instincts and pull out all the stops to prove Paulina’s innocence and find the true killer. Hailey must be careful, however, as she dives deeper into this mystery, she uncovers a conspiracy that threatens to add her to its list of victims.

  1. I am very happy Kellie Martin is returning in the Hailey Dean Mysteries series. I've watch all of them and look forward to more. She is a wonderful actress. Also enjoyed her in the "Mystery Woman" series during 2003-2007.

    1. Me too, Glady! I'm also happy to see Kellie Martin return in the role of Hailey Dean. I thought, perhaps, the story had ended when they found Will's killer, so it will be interesting to see the series carry on from there.

I, too, thought Kellie Martin was great in "Mystery Woman!" It was one of the first Hallmark series of mystery films, along with Jane Doe, etc...

Looking back, I've enjoyed watching Kellie Martin act since the television series, "Life Goes On" and then, "Christy." (I was always disappointed that "Christy" ended so soon.)

Anyway, I'm so glad to hear, glady, you are also looking forward to these new Hailey Dean mysteries!

      Blessings, Net

    2. Thanks, Net for your comments. I'm hopeful that Kellie and Jonah's love will continue and blossom into something more serious.

I also enjoyed the Jane Doe series. Lea Thompson is also a great actress.

I, too was disappointed when the "Christie" series ended. I have that DVD and will have to "pop" it into my DVD player and relive the series. Not sure if I watched the final episode when it was televised, and don't know if she chose one of her suitors.

Nice chatting with you, Net. We have much in common. My blessings to you. Glady

    3. Hello, again, Glady! I'm so glad to hear we both enjoy so many of the same types of movies!

As for the series, "Christy," I won't given any of the story away, but unfortunately, they filmed further movies that completed the series, with another actress. You can see details on these films - here!

It was wonderful chatting with you, too! Blessings! Net

  2. Where’s Hailey Dean’s Brother in Law; Danny Morgan (Giacomo Baessato) wasn’t in 3 movies this year?

    1. Apparently, Giacomo Baessato's role as Danny Morgan wasn't needed for these three Hailey Dean films. In the first movie ("Death on Duty")they explained his absence by saying he was in Florida for his parents' anniversary.

Will Danny be back for future Hailey Dean movies? For now, that is unknown, but I wouldn't close the door on the idea completely, especially since his brother was engaged to Hailey when he was killed. Having that connection to Hailey may bring back a reason for his role to continue in future HD mysteries, if they make more of them.
