See the Christmas TV Schedule to be sure and catch all your favorites before the Christmas movies end on Hallmark Movies & Movies early Monday morning at 5am/4c!

I feel the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas movies have been so beautiful again this year, emotionally deep and heartwarming. Of the ones I've seen, the three I've loved the most, so far, this year are "A Godwink Christmas," "A Veteran's Christmas," and "Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas." I'm sure I'll add to that list as I watch more and more of them!

I do hope you enjoy the intro to Winterfest and for those who love Christmas (like I do!), I hope you are able to absorb as many Christmas movies as humanly possible - this weekend!

Happy New Year 2019, Everyone!

  1. I am never been that excited about the Winterfest movies because that means Christmas movies are over so I will be watching HM&M all this week and hold on to every moment until it ends. I do love in the Winterfest movies the Snow, it is usually the real, so that makes it feel like Christmas. Thanks Net and I will be following you each week for the new premieres and before you know it will be Christmas time Again. I am just now enjoying all the movies and our Christmas decorations because everything has slowed down. Everyone can make Christmas last as long as they want...I know I do!

    1. Hello Sydney! I know just what you mean about missing Christmas. It is, indeed, so nice to have Winterfest and see all the beautiful snow. A Winter Wonderland makes it feel like Christmastime, and I noticed some lights on evergreen trees in "One Winter Proposal"... so I'm definitely keeping an eye out for that!

Thank you for your thoughtful comment!

    1. Oh, those are all wonderful favorites! I'm also looking forward to Hallmark Channel's new movies every Saturday night!

We didn't have a new Christmas movie last year during Christmas in July, so I'm hoping this means we will have one this year! :)

  3. Can't believe it's all ending! You are so right, Net. HMM movies have been mostly terrific this year! I agree with you, Godwink & A Veteran's Christmas are both my favorite too. I still need to watch "Time for me to come..". My absolute favorite is "Once Upon a Christmas Miracle"! Such a special story.

Very excited for Winter Castle premiere as well!

  4. Hi, Net and a very happy and healthy 2019 to your and your family! As much as I loved The Miracles of Christmas and Countdown to Christmas I am ready for Winterfest and looking forward to Winter Castle tonight.

I have a question if you don't mind--is it possible to get in touch with Hallmark with regard to their movies. I just have a couple of suggestions for them. I' happy to communicate with you private if you prefer, but I can't seem to find anyway to get in touch with them. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Net and looking forward to a year of wonderful movies!

    1. Hello Barbara! Thank you so much for the sweet message! We have had a very nice New Year, so far, with sunny days and mild temps.

In regard to your question about contacting Hallmark. Of course, you could communicate through social media, or you could send a letter directly to the President and CEO Bill Abbott or Executive Vice President Michelle Vicary.

I hope this information is helpful to you. The start off to Winterfest was already fantastic, so I'm hoping for a great year of movies on the Hallmark Channel - every Saturday night!!!

  7. First, I miss the Christmas movies already, second, Winter Castle was amazing, I really loved it.

I am really intrigued by the Hallmark promo of a new movie every Saturday, I went back and looked at their wording, it says Original movie premiere, every Saturday night. I know I have seen in the past, when they used to play a new movie in July for christmas, they play it opening weekend of Countdown to Christmas and they call it new. I was like, that's not new you played in July, but it is a "premiere" cause it never premiered on Countdown to Christmas. So I am wondering, if something like this may happen.

On the Hallmark site, it currently doesn't have anything in the slot for Sat Feb 2nd at 8 pm, so I guess we will see when they add it, but I was wondering if say a movie is first played on a Friday night, then when they play it on a Saturday night, they call it an original movie premiere cause it never "premiered" on Saturday night. I hope it is true and there truly is a new movie every Saturday, cause then we will be getting at least 52 new movies this year, as well as the new movies thanksgiving week, and also the sundays during Christmas. This will be an even bigger number of movies than last year. so exciting.

    1. Hello Sabrina! I'm right there with ya, missing the Christmas movies, too! It's only been a few days, but it already feels live forever!

I, too, thought "Winter Castle" was wonderful, something truly special! That ice hotel just seemed ideal, magical, and perfect! (probably because we watched from the warmth & comfort of home!) Anyway, it was beautiful on screen!

And yes, I know we are all excited as we anticipate a new movie every Saturday night and all the possibilities that means! I, too, hope that means we get a new Christmas movie in July. I really missed that last year.

And, as for a new movie on February 2... Hallmark Channel's Facebook page has a promo picture announcement for "Wedding in the Vineyard" on that night, but there may be changes there as we get closer. We'll wait & see!

Blessings in the New Year to You! Net

  8. Lots of wonderful Christmas movies this year. Some of my favorites were: Veteran's Christmas, A Godwink Christmas, Christmas made to order(family name for company), Once upon a Christmas Miracle(read that story on the internet about a year ago). Also Return to Christmas Creek(always watched Wings and enjoyed seeing Steven Weber in a Hallmark movie), It's Christmas, Eve, Reunited for Christmas, Mingle all the way, Last Vermont Christmas and Time for me to come home for Christmas were all movies I enjoyed. Thank you Hallmark and hope to see all of them on dvd. Thank you Net for this wonderful website to keep us all informed all year long. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year. RG

I, too, would love to see "Winter Castle" and "Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa" be released on DVD! I'm thinking with their popularity, it's a good bet we will see both eventually on DVD... I just hope the wait is not too long!

  11. I really, really enjoyed the Lifetime movies A Christmas in Tennessee and A Very Nutty Christmas. I really hope they are released on DVD.

As for the Hallmark Movies I really, really enjoyed A Veterans Christmas ( perhaps Hallmark could make a DVD with A Veterans Christmas, Home For Christmas Day, and Christmas Homecoming all on one DVD!!) A military special DVD.

I also enjoyed Jingle Around The Clock, A Shoe Addicts Christmas & Christmas In Love. Hoping to see these out on DVD too.

I also would like to see Love on The Slopes on DVD. I think it was better than Winter's Dream and One Winter Weekend.
