Hope you all have a Wonderful Weekend!!!

How's the Summer heat where you live? Here in the Midwest it's let up a bit, which has been so pleasant and nice, especially for outdoor activities and chores. I love these calm, easy breezy, sunshiny days! If only those pesky mosquitoes would fly... far... far... away!

Anyway, let's make this our own Summer to Remember!!!

Blessings to ALL of YOU who visit here, Net

  4. Christmas...I wish!!! I guess I am still in the Christmas in July mood! I am not really that excited about the new summer nights movies for reasons I won't share...and as for the other two...Chesapeake shores...hopefully it will keep the family aspect strong in the show...I do love that. I am not much into the Garage Sale Mystery Series. So, maybe I will just watch some Christmas movies I have on DVD this weekend!

  7. Net, I watched the Christmas in July Hallmark shows and really enjoyed them. I didn't see any old ones though - did they just show the new ones? I miss the old ones like The Christmas Card. Will they show the older shows this Christmas? I've been wanting to see A Summer to remember too. Sounds like a good one.

Wishing you nice Summer days, Net. Thank you for your well wishes for Nel and the baby.

    1. Thank you for your sweet comment, Sheri... it's always nice to hear from you! Christmas in July was a mix of old and new movies, but mostly new during the main primetime hours. I think I caught Candace Cameron Bure's "Switched for Christmas" at least 4 times! Anyway, sadly "The Christmas Card" didn't get a showing in July, but I'm hoping it will return at Christmastime.

Many blessings to you & yours and the arrival of that precious little one! Net

  8. Loved A Summer to Remember. Excellent cast all around and Catherine Bell and Cameron Mathison paired up so well together. I'd like to see them together again--maybe this Christmas? I also loved the co-owners of the resort as well as the young actress who portrayed the daughter. Will be watching again tonight! Happy Summer, Net! Here in New England we're heading into another heatwave, but not complaining as summer is so short :(

    1. Glad you enjoyed "A Summer to Remember," Barbara! The Summer Nights movies are always so fun! I was only able to see the first half, so far, but I'm sure the end will be good!

Right after I submitted this post for the weekend, our weather in the Midwest took a sultry turn and that humidity came right back again. It's eased off a little now, thankfully. Hope yours eases up a bit, too. That is so true... the "summer is so short." I've always tried to hold onto it as long as possible!

      Blessings on your day, Net

  10. How's it going? Got a bit of movie info for you. The third Emma Fielding movie is in the works, called "More Bitter Than Death"--about time we got another (plus they should make more Fixer Upper--those two series compliment one another)
