    1. Oh, that's great, Kerry! I'm so glad to hear you get the UP channel, too! I recorded the one from last night... "Bridal Bootcamp!" These all look like super cute movies premiering on UP this June! :)

    1. Oh my, I felt the same way, I kept going to tell my husband all the things that were the same. When the 2 guys even bet at the dinner, I was like Oh wow, if this isn't copyrighting I don't know what is. She even had a nickname of Roo instead of Bolt. I watched A Bride for Christmas on MOnday night, a much better movie. BUt I was just so surprised a movie could be so close to another movie, really. They could have changed some of the storyline, it was a carbon copy with different names and different jobs.

    2. This was an inferior rip-off of A Bride for Christmas. It's a shame many of these HM/UP/ION movies coming out are made from the same generic script. I.e. Same names like Holly/Molly, same wiping stuff off the others face crutch, same plot, etc..,

    3. Not sure it will make anyone else feel better about this one, but Betting on the Bride is not a true rip off in the traditional sense, though entirely too similar to A Bride for Christmas, this actually is written by the same woman. So she copied herself at least and not someone else.

    4. Toria, my husband had suggested to me maybe this was written by the same person that did Bride for Christmas so interesting that you mentioned this.

  3. Funny thing, the same writer penned both of these movies, Barbara Kymlicka. She has wrote a bunch of great TV movies, but recycling your own material almost exactly is questionable.

  4. ‘Mel’ has the best clothes in this movie. Any ideas where some of the wardrobe pieces are from?!
