It's truly a great list of Hallmark Christmas movies, but it is missing some of my favorites... "Window Wonderland," "The Nine Lives of Christmas," "Matchmaker Santa," "Moonlight and Mistletoe," "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade," and more! Plus, as Eddie P. mentioned, last years winner "The Christmas Card" is not on the list this year. Guess they wanted to give another movie the chance to win.

Please share... Are there any of your Hallmark Christmas movie favorites missing, too?

Will you play this year by strategy? Or, will you simply choose your personal favorites?

However you play the game, have FUN!

Happy March "Merry Madness"

  1. I was sort of laughing at the classics category, I guess 2016 movies are now classics. I like the Hallmark movies now category, good advertising on Hallmarks part.

    1. Yeah, I thought the same thing, Sabrina. Classic movies seem like they should be much older than 2 years ago. I guess they were an "instant classic"!

  2. When does it start?

  3. Again, no Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas. That's my favorite.

    1. Oh, I love that one, too, Anna! "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas" is also one of my absolute favorites... the necklace, the dip at the dance, the little girl, the letter to God, the nativity pageant, Rita's awful Christmas cookies, the dog who plays a sheep, Norman's first Christmas stocking, Oliver decorating the tree, and all of them dancing!!! That's my winner, too! Too bad it didn't make the bracket list. Maybe next year!

    2. Agree! SSD Christmas should've made the brackets. Such an amazing Christmas movie compared to the others listed in the brackets!

  4. Not happy with the pairings. Some of my favorites are up against other favorites. I think we should be able to choose a list before the eliminations begin. Some films have more heart while others are fluff pieces.

  5. I agree. Under classics I would have liked to have seen SSD for Christmas. And also Farewell, Mr. Kringle, Matchmaker Santa, Window Wonderland, Finding Christmas and 12 gifts of Christmas to mention a few. RG

I played last year but I think I'll be sitting out this year. Just don't like the pairings or the way that it's set up.

  7. A lot of my favorites are missing! I won't be taking part in it .

  8. For the second year in a row one of my favorites is nowhere to be found - The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

    1. I agree. They should include "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" under Hallmark Classics! It's a way better movie than the ones listed in the bracket.

This years bracket is just wrong! They've got movies on there I've never heard of and so many of the great ones are missing. And like it's already been mentioned...how does a two year old movie get to be the classics?? Very disappointing!

  10. I wasn't going to participate this year either but once I pulled it up and started reading the little descriptions of each movie and seeing the posters I started to get those warm memories of past Christmases when I watched the movies.

I guess I am an addict for the Christmas high. They sucked me right in. I don't care about what pairs are there or what movies are there, I just loved the warm fuzzy's it gave me by playing along.

  11. I see a lot of movies I'm not familiar with especially those under the category "Hallmark Movies Now". I was pleasantly surprised that they include "A Princess for Christmas"! I enjoyed that one so much, probably my favorite royal christmas movie! In the end, my 2 last picks were "Miss Christmas" and "Bramble House Christmas" and it was so hard to choose between the two but ultimately I picked Miss Christmas because I like how unique and touching the story was.
