I sure hope you all enjoy all 5 of these new movies this weekend. Please know - I have not previewed these films, so do check ratings before viewing with your family!

May you all have a relaxing, peaceful weekend... my dear movie friends!

The news we have all seen come out of our TVs, from Texas this week, has certainly been heartbreaking. Words fail me now as to how to express my sorrow for those I don't know, but who were fellow believers and Americans. I have watched the news this week and turned back and forth to our Hallmark movies... all the while my heart, thoughts, and prayers continue to reach all the way to Texas - to a small town and those precious people who live there. I pray His light will shine through the darkness.

We learn from this... to "love our neighbor as ourselves" and cherish each moment with family and friends.... while finding simple sweet joys in the little things, even a fun new Christmas movie on a Saturday or Sunday night.

Blessings to you all, Net

I wish you all the fruits of God's spirit...
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, and Goodness!

  1. The movie I am most excited about is The Song for Christmas, as I think she is a country singer, and also the Up Country movie (I love Country Music). And also Lacey in her movie. I k now I will watch Engaging Father Christmas at some point, but the Enchanted Christmas, doesn't really appeal to me. For some reason it reminds me of the Nutcracker Christmas from last year, I am just not into the dancing movies.

I am happy that on Monday, they will FINLLY be playing The Christmas Shepherd on HMM. I have been waiting for this movie forever, since they didn't play it in July. This is its first airing although they have played other movies like 3 times already, but I will take this movie whenever its on. They are also playing The Three Gifts and Single Santa seeking movies on Monday too :)

  3. Can't wait to see all of these, Net! I know I'll have to record some and watch throughout the week. Lacey's movies are always up there with all of my favorites each year, hoping this one ranks right up there with Matchmaker, Royal, or maybe Wish, from last year.

Alexa and Carlos are too cute together. It's kind of weirdly fascinating to watch a real life couple pretend to fall in love.

Engaging Father Christmas is on my watch list, for sure, plus Country and Song! Yeah, I plan to watch them all!

    Thanks for this great reminder!!!!!!!

  4. Finally! Here comes Lacey's movie! She's notoriously Hallmark's powerhouse starter for these events. I have a feeling after this weekend, Hallmarks numbers are going up!

  6. Thanks Net! I DEPEND on your schedule to keep me in the loop and set my DVR by it.....so thanks!

I am excited for Engaging Father Christmas. I know they used some of the same locations in this sequel but I am hoping to discover some new ones too.

And who doesn't love any movie that lacey stars in??? It will shine, like all her others. She is so great!!!

I'm really looking forward to the husband and wife acting duo in Enchanting Christmas.

I am a wee bit behind on my Christmas movies. I'm still trying to catch up from last weekend. (That 40 hour work week keeps getting in my way)

Thanks for keeping my DVR stocked,

    Kerry

  8. I saw during Sweetest Christmas Lacey's movie she is filming now, Room for Romance will be part of Countdown to Valentines day. It also has Andrew walker yay.

I have to say, Engaging Father Christmas was my favorite of the weekend. Maybe of the season so far. Love Niall Matter and him and Erin are so wonderful together. I am not 100% familiar with the books, but I hope we will be getting another movie next year :) We need to see them get married!!!!

Engaging Father Christmas was an awesome movie! Like others have said, they left the door open for a 3rd in this series and I hope they do!

Didn't get a chance to see Lacy yet...still looking forward to that one as well! I loved the news about the valentine movie she's making with our Andrew Walker! What a pairing that will be!!
