  1. I watched Holly's Christmas preview show last night. I'm excited for the new movies. I don't understand why they showed such long previews of some of the movies and such short of others. And if they had gone with shorter, they could have shown more movies. Perhaps they aren't all in the can yet????

The Harvest Wedding movie was ok. Not one of my faves although I really like the cast. It just didn't have the feel that some of the others have. I wasn't sure how any of couples felt about each other because it just didn't come through for me. It may not have been my fave but it certainly wasn't that bad. I LOVED the harvest colors throughout the film!!! Set dec did a FAB job really making it look like fall.

I recognized the town right away and was able to track down Sarah's house and will get some pics on my next trip up north.

    1. Exactly, Kerry... the Christmas movies are not all filmed, yet. Some are actually in the filming process right now! Hallmark is amazing - Snoopy speed - at producing these films!

I, too, thought the setting was absolutely beautiful in A Harvest Wedding... a stunning picturesque view of autumn! And, I loved how they often actually used the Fall Harvest phrase. The story itself was very sweet, but mostly I just loved Jill Wagner and Victor Webster, who truly made this story come to life! I loved that you found Sarah's (Jill Wagner's) house in the movie! How fun! It was so sweet how her Dad had the Welcome Home sign hung at the front upon her return. A truly nice touch.

      Thank you for sharing!!!
      Blessings!!! Net :)

  2. Can't believe Fall Harvest is coming to an end and here come the Christmas movies! I loved seeing Jill Wagner and Victor Webster together in A Harvest Wedding. The farm setting was perfect for fall harvest and Jill & Victor had that special connection. Plus, the two stars I recognized from When Calls the Heart were very good and nice to see. Nurse Faith made a very pretty bride in this.

  5. I really enjoyed Holly's preview show. I skipped through most of the scenes because I didn't want to be too spoiled.(The train one went on forever) I loved The Perfect Christmas Gift preview. It moved to the top of my list just from that. The movies they didn't preview aren't finished yet and I don't even remember seeing Reindeer Games on a schedule before. I am excited to see the Candace preview show tonight.

I thought A Harvest Wedding was the best of the Fall Harvest movies. If for no other reason it showed us a "what happened later" at the end of the movie! How refreshing! We don't usually get that...married, a baby on the way and his project really did grow things "anywhere" as we saw the corn on the tops of buildings! Awesome!

    1. *SPOILER ALERT* A Harvest Wedding

Yes, that was a very sweet ending, Joyce! It was somewhat fast, though. I only wish they could have given it another minute or so. I'm afraid if someone blinked they may have missed it! LOL! Other than that, I, too, liked it - as it rounded out their complete story!

  7. I watched both Christmas previews and I could have sworn a whole bunch weren't shown yet! Are they still filming? Any hints around about it?

    Thanks!

    1. Yes, several Hallmark Christmas movies are still filming right now, including: Karen Kingsbury's Maggie's Christmas Miracle, Christmas Getaway, Christmas Cottage, etc...

So... I suppose there aren't any scenes to actually show us, yet. I'm always amazed at how late they film these, and yet... have them ready and edited in time for our viewing. It's truly incredible!

Hope you enjoyed the preview shows! I wasn't too sure if I wanted to watch too much and spoil watching any of the movies later on. But, it's always fun to get a hint of Christmas!

    2. On the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries one, they showed a lot! On the Hallmark one, they showed a lot on some and barely nothing on others! Plus, they didn't show any of Marry Me At Christmas or did I miss that? It was weird with how they didn't show them in order.

  8. I figured out that 'A Gift to Remember' is now on hallmark rather than HMM. One last question though, is 'A Royal New Year's Eve' a new title for 'New Year's Eve Gala'?

    1. Yes, A Gift to Remember is airing on the Hallmark Channel this year. Other movies were switched over, as well.

And, yes... 'A Royal New Year's Eve' is a new title for 'New Year's Eve Gala'!

I keep updating the list - here and in my Christmas schedule! Hope this helps!

  10. Hi, Net, I loved "A Harvest Wedding", so much so, I had to watch it twice and I hope it comes out on DVD!! Jill is so beautiful and I love her diverse personality that paired perfectly with that handsome Victor Webster....stunning, stunning couple!!

  11. I loved the whole Fall Harvest Fest of Movies--
I loved them all but especially was touched by Falling in Vermont.
I also loved Darrow & Darrow and I was so excited to hear there will be more episodes.
    Happy Fall!

  12. Is anyone else as shocked and disappointed as I am that “When Calls the Heart: The Christmas Wishing Tree” was not mentioned during Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas Preview Show? Hallmark went out of their way to invite Lori Loughlin to appear on the show and still no mention of “When Calls the Heart”. Hallmark knows how large of a fanbase this show has and that this movie has the potential to acquire a huge viewership number, so the fact that “When Calls the Heart” was completely ignored is very surprising. My theory is the character of the “young Mountie” is so important, that the creative team of “When Calls the Heart” is going to great lengths to keep the character’s identity a secret. If this were the case, I think either the “young Mountie” will be portrayed by a more well-known actor that Hallmark could realistically hire or the “young Mountie” could be Jack’s brother, Tom Thornton.

    1. YES! YES! YES! I'm so glad you mentioned this! I, too, was expecting to hear a little something on When Calls the Heart, even if it was only to say when it was airing. Like you, since Lori Loughlin was there it seemed very odd they didn't mention it whatsoever. I thought, maybe, after they discussed Jodie's movie they might, but it didn't happen. What a missed opportunity to share such a wonderful series!

Thank you for sharing this and your interesting WCTH theory!

      Blessings! Net :)
