    1. Thank you so much, Linda! I always look forward to and appreciate your thoughtful and warm responses! So glad to hear you were able to vote for all your favorites!!!

I wonder who will this year? I have a couple guesses, but I best keep them secret so I don't influence voting! :)

    2. 20 nominees? Don't get me wrong, I like them all, but is that the norm?

      Delete
    3. You are right. 20 actor nominees are more than I have ever had in the "It's a Wonderful Movie" poll. Typically each category has 10 or 12 nominees, but with so many more movies, comes more actors to choose from, and I couldn't think of eliminating 8 actors from this list!

(And, if anyone suggests someone that could have been eliminated after I post this comment, I will not post that comment, out of respect for that actor.)

Hopefully, with 20 nominees, everyone is able to choose their favorites!!!

  2. Yay! I'm HAPPY to see the polls are back! You promised April and you came through - and thanks for mentioning the actresses noms come next week! Thank you Net for everything you do!

  3. Thank you for bringing back the polls! I voted for 8 of them, but I won't say who, so as not to ruin any of the actors chances. There are lots of great choices from 2015!

  4. Why are the results "confidential"?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. For a couple reasons...

First, out of respect for the actors who may not poll as high as others. Right now, they are all on level playing field, and one actor will be chosen as the main winner. The rest will never know how they ranked.

And, the second reason... is so the winner will be a Surprise when I announce him!!!

  5. Why is Antonio Cupo not among the nominees???

    1. Awww, I like Antonio as an Actor, too. He actually won this poll for his role in "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" a few years back! It's so hard to leave anyone we like out.

  6. My goodness how does one pick just one!!! I have watched all of them and they all play such different roles. Thank you so much for the polls and all your excellent choices on movies. Peace and Grace

    1. You don't have to choose just one. You can't pick as many as like from 1 to All!

    1. Andrew Walker is on there for his role in "Dashing Through the Snow"! He is Second, from the last alphabetically.

  8. I would have liked to see how they all ranked - just curious to see how others feel about these actors.

    1. I understand that, Susan, and yet I always feel bad for the guy coming in last. This time, I will post the top winner, and share 2nd and 3rd place, too.

  9. This is so fun! Thanks, Net. These are some great actors! I don't think it is too many to have 20 because that gives them all a chance. I would have also loved to see Jonathon Scarfe listed!

    1. Love your sweet comment, Natalie!

I base all the nominees on feedback and chatter I receive from all you, social media, ratings, etc!!! Choosing and Eliminating can be tough, at times.

I'm so glad to hear you enjoy the poll & think it's fun!!! Thanks so much!

    2. Thank you Natalie for mentioning Jonathan Scarfe! I know it's hard to get them all Net, but he's an awesome actor. Love On the Air is my favorite Hallmark movie. Story line is a little different from the others. I love these polls though even if my fav is not on there! I'm voting anyway!Keep up the good work Net!

  10. Man its like a sea of lookalikes. Where's the men of color?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thank you for your comment. Nominees are based on acting performance.

      Delete
    2. So no one though any men of color in any TV movies did a good job this year?

      Delete
    3. Acting performance is subjective. And weremthere no men of color in TV movies who gave a great performance in your eyes?

      Delete
    4. Nominees are chosen based on the Family TV Movies we are given, plus the feedback received from viewers.

      Delete
    5. Perhaps the critique of "no men of color" in the poll is better addressed with the family TV networks rather than a blogger who has no control over casting? Net is just putting out there the most popular actors in the most popular family TV movies. Surely she cannot be held responsible for casting.

      Delete
    6. There were men of color in family tv movies they just weren't on Hallmark. Lifetime and NBC aren't family TV channels. There were some good performances in movies on UP(which hardly gets acknowledged on here) and Pixl. INSP only had one movie last year and got a nom.

      Delete
    7. I don't know what you mean, here? Net has promoted UP for years and they've been recognized in the polls. Everybody is going to have somebody they wish was on the list.

Case in point, I liked Trevor Donovan in "Love Finds You in Charm".

  11. Is it bad that I voted for all 20?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Of course, that's not bad. That just means you love them all equally and couldn't pick anyone over another. In the end, however you didn't choose or eliminate anyone, but it is nice to know at least everyone has one vote!

  12. It is 4:00 P.M. May 3rd and I could not vote for the best actors of 2015. I read I could have voted for more than one person and neglected to do so, but thank you anyway for giving me the opportunity to do so. Since I spend most of my time watching UP and Hallmark TV I would have voted for all of them. With Peace Love and Grace
