Hallmark TV ALERT: Major Dilemma for ALL #Hearties and #POstables

According to Wikipedia, the definition of dilemma is: "a problem offering two possibilities, neither of which is unambiguously acceptable or preferable". Oh, that is so true!

#Hearties - fans of the Frontier TV Drama Series "When Calls the Heart"!

#POstables - fans of the ongoing Inspirational Mystery Movie Series "Signed, Sealed, Delivered"!

How would the DLO team solve this? Is it possible a Mountie could help?

Here are my 2 cents...

The main dilemma for all of us devoted #Hearties and #POstables... is that on February 21st, 2016 the Hallmark Channel is airing the continuation of Season 3 of "When Calls the Heart" with Episode 2: Troubled Hearts at 9pm/8c. and at the EXACT SAME TIME, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is premiering the next movie in the SSD series: "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From the Heart".

How would Oliver solve this one???

Ugh!!! This is such a quandary! How can they make us choose between them? Unless you have a DVR that can record both at once, "the Struggle is Real"!
Elizabeth is writing here...
perhaps in her journal, a letter home,
or maybe a love letter to Jack?

Loyal, faithful viewers will have to choose between the premiere of "When Calls the Heart" Season 3 and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From the Heart" on February 21st, when both shows have repeatedly won our hearts over, time and time, again. No matter what we choose, there can be no clear winner... as our thoughts will surely also be with the other program we are missing, at the time.

(Sigh....) Oh, well... Tisk. Tisk. Honestly, I know this is not a huge dilemma, (just having a little fun with it!) and trust me, I am grateful to have both stations and the opportunity to decide between them, but Hallmark must know that many devoted #Hearties love  "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" and many loyal #POstables love "When Calls the Heart", myself being one of them!

I am curious... for those of you who are fans of these two shows and have both stations, the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and if you cannot watch one & record the other, or record both, then, which one will you watch on the night of February 21, 2016?

Whatever you choose... Please don't be broken-hearted! There are more chances to see both of these programs... "When Calls the Heart" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From the Heart"!

Here are the air times for both programs, according to Hallmark's current listings...

on the Hallmark Channel

Premieres: February 21st, 2016 at 9pm/8c.

Repeats: Friday February 26, 2016 at 2pm/1c.

  1. Wow! That is really something. Can't imagine why they would play them at the same time. Thankfully they are having a repeat or repeats. I can't decide which I'd watch live!

    1. I know... it surprised me, too. I would think both programs would draw in a similar audience. I still haven't decided which one I'll watch first, either.

  2. LOL!! Great commentary, Net, you have quite the "sense of humor"!! I will be watching SSD: "From the Heart". The Postables stole my heart a long time ago and I will watch all the repeat shows along with both airings of WCTH.

    1. Thank you, Linda! Love, Love, Love what you wrote: "The POstables stole my heart!" That is beautifully expressed... I feel exactly the same!!!

  3. Love both but prefer SSD - however I will see neither on 2/21 as I live in the UK! Hallmark, please release the DVDs asap X

    1. It's great to hear from you, Anonymous from the UK... you're stamp might cost a little more than 2 cents. (just kidding!) I sure hope they release all of Signed, Sealed, Delivered on DVD. I know there are many in the U.S. who also don't have the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel, and are looking forward to getting the DVDs. Hopefully, they are coming soon!

  4. What a wonderful problem to have, right? It's an embarrassment of riches for us to have both of these wonderful series returning! I will probably watch Signed, Sealed, & Delivered because it's the show I prefer. It's one of the few shows on television that not only talks about God, Faith, the Bible, and Bible verses, but does so proudly! It's a program that my whole family really looks forward to. We will record When Calls the Heart. We're still re-watching the last few episodes of last season in order for us to be prepared for this season.

    1. So true, Susan. Of all problems, it is a good one to have. I must admit SSD is my favorite, too... (don't tell!) but it also has many more repeat options. So, I'm perplexed. I'm always concerned bad weather could go through and ruin my signal. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing them both! :)

  5. I never thought about the possibility of Elizabeth writing a love letter. I just assumed it was her journal. That would be so sweet.

    1. It probably is her journal, but, of course, a letter wouldn't be out of the ordinary for that time period. Letter writing was the main form of communicating in those days. It's unfortunate lost art today.

  6. Well, it doesn't apply to me, as I have a DVR, but being there being repeated, I think I'd watch S, S, D and the watch the repeat of When Calls the Heart!! No that doesn't mean that's my second choice. But my hubby would prefer the movie over the show!!

  7. Thankfully I don't have to choose, since I DVR everything (I hate commercials), but... if I HAD too, SSD wins hands down. Although that doesn't mean I've stopped loving WCTH any less! I just hope that about an hour into taping SSD it will let me start watching it. It doesn't always when taping two shows at the same time, unless WCTH is only 1 hour?

  8. At least there are plenty of repeat showings. :)

  9. Both shows have merit and it's a shame Hallmark made us choose. What's the point? But the world of the Denver DLO is in my blood and I will be watching Martha Williamson's incomparable Signed, Sealed, Delivered From the Heart

  10. When Calls the Heart has my heart, so I will watch that one first and record Signed, Sealed, Delivered the first day it replays. I belong to the #HEARTIES

  11. Isn't that how it goes? Both shows that I "love" are shown on the same day, same time. Thank goodness I have a DVR. What did I do years ago without one??? ;)

  12. Watch When Calls the Heart because HM&M will repeat the new Signed, Sealed & Delivered film a few more times.
