    1. You either "can hardly wait" or "can't wait." You don't put both together. Grammar are went!

    2. I don't think it matters. Many use the phrase "can't hardly wait." It's also the name of a movie strangely enough. We all understood what was meant. What does "Grammar are went!" mean?

    3. I loved the movie also. Does anyone know who sang the song at the end when she was at the beach the last time? I love that song.

  5. She looks like his moher! She also looks too old for her deceased husband. Kelly may be fine in other movies, but she was totally wrong for this one. And what's with all the face twitching she does? Is that her idea of 'acting?'

    1. I'm not sure what you were watching, but I thought Kellie looked great in this movie. Younger and more athletic looking than in recent roles, such as So You Said Yes. I never noticed any face twitching. Kellie and Kavan looked age-appropriate together.

I loved this movie! I am a little late to comment on it because I had the movie saved on the DVR and only just got around to watching it earlier this morning.

Anyway, I thought Kellie looked great, and I thought that Kavan Smith was wonderful in the role. I was familiar with his face -- I've seen him in something that I cannot recall -- but I was not really familiar with his work. I didn't know what to expect from him in this movie, and he was delightful.

Kellie absolutely did not look like Kavan's mother -- in fact, when his character, James, first appeared onscreen I felt that he looked older than Kellie and that they might not be a good pair. But their chemistry was easy, and didn't feel forced or flat (as can be the case in other Hallmark movies).

Yes, this movie had a lot of similarities to "The Christmas Ornament" (which is one of my all-time favorite Hallmark movies), but I didn't mind it at all. As long as the story is told well and the actors are good together, I have no problem with repeat plots. I know what to expect from Hallmark movies -- story-wise, actor-wise, and otherwise -- and it's a formula that works for me.

Kellie is one of my favorites in the Hallmark family of actors. I think she brings a certain relatable quality to every role she plays. While she is certainly an attractive woman, it's an accessible, down to earth kind of beauty that I think works for her. She seems real, and not just a cookie cutter pretty face. Plus, she also brings wit and brains to her characters.

When I think about it, I realize that each one of the most popular Hallmark actresses (or each one of my favorites) has a totally different look and personality, and each one brings something different to the roles -- and yet they all share a certain endearing charm that fits perfectly with Hallmark's movies. Kellie does not look like Alicia. Alicia does not look like Candace. Candace does not look like Lacey. Lacey does not look like Teri. Teri does not look like Autumn. Autumn does not look like Brooke (Burns). Brooke does not look like Katrina. Katrina does not look like Arielle. Arielle does not look like Hilarie. Each one has her own individual appeal, and sometimes one actress might fit better in a specific role than another actress for that very reason.

  8. I received an e-mail question about the movie "Hello, It's Me" and I hope one of you might have the answer for this lady.

    She would like to know:

Can you tell me what the name of the song at the end of the movie Hello It’s Me when Kellie is at the beach for the last time playing in the background when she is talking to Andre? And who is singing it. Thanks

The only song I noticed or paid attention to in the movie was the actual "Hello, It's Me" song by Todd Rundgren. Now I have to watch the movie again and look out for that scene!
