    1. So agree, Susan.... I think 'Family for Christmas' looks cute, too!

I'm so happy to share that it will air in July, after all. When the press release said it was going to be previewed then, I wasn't sure. I actually thought they were only going to be showing a long trailer of the movie to promote Countdown to Christmas, but I'm glad my previous assumption was wrong and they will be airing the movie during "Christmas Keepsake" week!

I'm so glad you are just as excited as I am, Susan!!! :) I can't wait, too!!!

    2. This movie appears to have plagerized The Family Man (2000) starring Nicolas Cage!

Fantastic! Christmas in July on Hallmark has become a family tradition for us and something we really enjoy looking forward to. It reminds us to live the Christmas Spirit all year long. We really enjoyed the new movie last year with Harry Connick Jr. so hearing that Hallmark has premiering another new movie this July is wonderful news! We do enjoy re-watching many of our old favorites but since we have seen almost every single movie that Hallmark will be airing during Christmas in July, knowing that there will be a brand new one will really make the wait exciting! Thanks for taking the time to let us know!

    1. Thank you, Susan! That is fabulous that your family enjoys watching the Christmas movies together - we do the same and try to catch as many as possible! It's my absolute joy to share them with all of you!!! Thank you for taking the time to share how much you love the Christmas movies! :)

  7. Love all your movie pix for "Family for Christmas"! Where did you find your main pix with the movie title. I've never seen them anywhere else. Also, do you think they will air this in August, September, and October, or will they place it only twice and hold it back until Christmas?

    1. Yay! I love that you love the "pix" above! The reason why you haven't seen the poster type images elsewhere, is because I created them with some basic photoshop. I'm sure the official movie poster for "Family for Christmas" will be released soon, and I will add it to my site, when it is.

As for the airings of this movie... I bet you're right, Jess... It looks like it will just have these 2 airings... and we probably won't see it again 'til November or December! Better watch or record while we can!

  8. LOVED Family Christmas, this has to be one of Hallmark's best movies and along with Autumn Reeser's Hallmark movies, I also love Lacey's Hallmark movies. I hope this comes out on DVD in the near future. I love the line (along the lines of) you can't change the past, but you change the future.

  11. I love watching Lacey Chabert movies. I hated this one. She and her costars did the best they could with the stilted words shown on script pages that were directed in predictable "what if" style. I found her journey to the parallel universe painful and jarring. I won't be watching this one again. EVER.

  12. Sorry to hear that, anonymous. So what if the plot was borrowed from a few previously made Christmas movies; I can think of three. Each actor/actress brings their own take to the script and I adore Lacey's personality as I do others. Let's be glad we have Christmas movies; maybe "not so" in the near future.....

  13. This movie plot is an exact copy of Family Man starring Nicolas Cage right down to some of the exact same lines! Good movie, but a copy none the less.

    1. Completely agree. She's a great actress but Hallmark didn't even try on this one. Good movie but definitely shouldn't be called "original". It was a mirror image of the family man.

  14. Does anyone know who sings the song in the beginning of Family for Christmas when the "ten years later" part begins. This song was also in Gift Wrapped for Christmas. Cant find it!!

  15. Trying to find out who or what the name of the song that plays during "ten years later" scene. This Christmas song was also in Lifetime's A Gift Wrapped Christmas. Love it, but I can' find it!!

  16. Could you please identify the green tote handbag that Lacey Chabert's character has? I'd really like to buy it. Thank you!

  17. I would really like to know the designer of the green tote handbag, also! It's so pretty! I think I spied it in another Hallmark movie (maybe "A Cookie Cutter Christmas"???) I would really like to know the brand so I can buy it :)
