    1. Oh...Thank you for sharing this. The CW network often plays Christmas cartoons around Christmas, so in hindsight, I'm not surprised they played an Easter one. I did an on-line search for Easter TV specials last week, but the search did not pick this one up! I do hope some of you either caught this or have the DVD! Sorry I missed it.

  2. I like Granite Flats, too. Its Mad Men without all the rated R stuff.

    1. Yes, they keep the relationship stuff clean, and no language, that I recall, either.

The fashion and cars, of that era, are so wonderful to look at.... I wish people still dressed up, like that!

  3. is this series "dark?" I looked at a few trailers online but can't tell what it's about from those and it looked a bit dark ... any violence? Wanted to give it a try but really looking for something "unstressful" haha.

    1. Great question, Jen. I haven't watched Season 3, yet, but as far as Season 1 & 2 go... I consider them to be fascinating, suspenseful, and not stressful. I wouldn't consider it for young viewers; however, the 13 year old in my family likes it, and was excited to hear about Season 3.

Just so you know, there are elements of violence, an explosion, flashback memories of war, etc... but nothing I personally considered to be too difficult to handle, and I am not one who likes intense scary stuff, at all.

From the beginning, you will absolutely fall in love with all of the characters in this small town, especially the young trio of detectives: Timmy, Madeline, and Arthur.

Let me know, if you decide to give it a try. It took 2 to 3 episodes for me to really get into it... and then, once I did, I was hooked!

Thanks for your question, Jen! Have a Great Day! :)
