Thoughts on Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie Weekend

I was so glad to hear from so many of you who enjoyed the Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie Weekend as much I, and my family, did. As we were in and out over the weekend, we tried our best to absorb as much of the Christmas Movies as possible - and since some were repeated on both days - I think we just about caught a little bit of each movie - plus, we actually sat down and watched several, too!

Oh, I just never wanted them to end! Someone else had mentioned and I completely agreed - it would have been nice if they could have scheduled in A Grandpa for Christmas, in honor of Ernest Borgnine, due to his recent passing. That would have been perfect at 10 PM Sunday night, instead of Frasier, and then it would have finished the Christmas Movies off at midnight!

Like I said, I just didn't want it to end... however, I am grateful for what they did show.

All in all... I must say THANK YOU to the Hallmark Channel! We enjoyed the Christmas Movie Weekend emmensely - from Mrs. Miracle, Call Me Mrs. Miracle, The Town Christmas Forgot, Annie Claus is Coming to Town, Mistletoe Over Manhattan, Holiday Engagement, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, and all the way to A Princess for Christmas and more! And, Now we are looking forward to the new Christmas Movie Season starting, more than ever!

Also, don't forget to submit your answers for the Hallmark Christmas Movie Trivia Game and...

Stay Tuned - it looks like we may start the Christmas TV Schedule earlier than ever, this year!

  1. I was only able to catch a few of the movies because I was out of town all day Sat. till 4PM Sun, but the two I saw warmed my heart and really got me ready for Christmas!!
I wish they would bring back the weeknight movies!!!! I and my family miss them so much and are so tired of LHOTP and Frasier. I know the ratings would go up because the weknight movies were just about the only family fare on nightly.
Thanks for all your hard work bringing us such a great blog. I truly do appreciate you.

Might be posting this twice since my comments have not been showing up, but I agree that "A Grandpa for Christmas" would have been a perfect conclusion to the Christmas in July weekend and a great tribute to Ernest Borgnine. I am also really sick of Frasier and wish Hallmark would not show these series over and over again when there are so many movies people would like to see back in rotation.

  4. Well I get little time to watch TV, as I go through a very hectic schedule. But still try to catch up with these movies in Hallmark whenever I enjoy a little leisure.

  6. One of my favorite movie hubs. Though my personal favorite is HBO but Hallmarks seconds the list.
