Minute Men

MOVIE REVIEW

Minute Men:

Disney Channel movie, that seemed to be loosely based on the Back to the Future classic trilogy.

CAST:

Jason Dolley ... Virgil Fox
Luke Benward ... Charlie Tuttle
Nicholas Braun ... Zeke Thompson
Chelsea Staub ... Stephanie Jameson
Steven R. McQueen ... Derek Beaugard
Kara Crane ... Jeanette

PLOT:

A comedy/sci-fi adventure about three high school boys who invent a time machine together and decide to only use the invention for good - to spare others just like themselves from the humiliation they've endured during high school. How will going back in time change the future? Will the boys stick to their agreement? Will Virgil ever catch Stephanie's eye? All in all... just another day in High School!

Movie Review:

Cute, fun movie.... young viewers may not fully understand the fantasy of the time machine travel, and may be frightened. Otherwise, older children/tweens will think it is funny and will love the characters in this disney movie. Virgil is the good guy, the underdog in most of life's situations... so you find yourself eager to see him succeed and learn how to tell the girl (Stephanie) he's been crushing on for years- that he likes her. Will she like him, too?

And, then there's Charlie.... nerdy, but cute and adorable, shy around girls, but right at home with his Scientific Gadgets! When they go back in time... it's interesting to see Charlie's favorite day and why he and Virgil decide the present is just the way they like it!

SEE or SKIP:

See this movie with the family, except small children.
